This was my first trip to see the ocean. We wanted a water view room. We were placed on the 7th floor, with a tiny balcony. Room wasn't as clean as I would have liked, hair in the bathroom, and smelled very much like the person there before us had smoked a lot of marijuana. It did have a small fridge, coffee maker and microwave, along with basic dishes which was a nice touch. The hotel was very convenient to the boardwalk, with a clearly marked walk in/out from the hotel directly. Convenient to lots of shops and places to eat. Parking was close, but very tight for anything other than a compact car. Ocean view was great, staff was quite friendly. Also it was very easy to spot the hotel from far down the boardwalk as it has a distinct blue roof. They also provide complimentary beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. We weren't able to use the pool because of rain (Outdoor pool only). Note, no complimentary breakfast if that's something you'd want. Overall, I feel it was a middle of the road experience.

Loved decor of hotel, pool, bar lounge area outside our room! Very convenient and relaxing! Staff was pretty friendly, hotel was also clean for the most part and beds made, towels replaced and room vacuumed daily! Close to shops, restaurants and beach of course!!

It was your typical boardwalk hotel. I was a little upset before I even checked in because I had booked a deck level room with two double beds months in advance, and when they called me to confirm, they had moved me to an oceanfront balcony room and told me they gave me an upgrade. I never asked for an upgrade and I booked the deck level because that’s where I wanted to be. They did make it work for me and gave me a deck level room, but they just pulled an extra bed into the room, but no pullout sofa. I just didn’t like that. They changed my reservation on me without even asking me first and then tried to play it off like they were giving me an upgrade. Maybe don’t over book your rooms.

We've been coming down to Ocean City for quite a few years now and ALWAYS had issues with almost every hotel we stayed at. Not minor simple issues either. This year I put out a bit more cash for a quality hotel which had pretty good reviews. We stayed 4 nights here and it was absolutely Fantastic! NO issues what so ever. Everything seemed so simple, friendly people and staff, no loud noises in the hallways, it was a Wonderful, Relaxing vacation for us! Thank you, Michael & Michelle

We have stayed at Park Place several times. The room, pool, and property are always clean and well maintained. The location can't be beat! We stayed for 4 nights and only drove to one place the entire stay. It is walkable to dining and entertainment options for the whole family. The beach is literally right outside the back entrance. It is family friendly with multi-generational family vacationers.

We like the shower pressure and temperature. The hotel itself is nice. The staff at front desk was helpful when I had troubles checking in. The outdoor pool was nice and not too crowded. Unfortunately we had more cons than pros. The queen beds were so incredibly hard, uncomfortable, and noisy, we got horrible sleep all week. Our view of the top of the Coconut Club roof was not what we we're expecting, bad view. The balconies are small. If you're staying for a week I'd recommend getting a room if they provide it with a stove. Little counter space even if you brought a crockpot. Also, no outside "foot" showers, just on the 2nd floor inside pool area.

Great location!

Great location! The hotel and room were very clean very comfortable bed. You’re close to the boardwalk in the beach and restaurants. The only downfall is the hotel rooms could be updated and we thought we were getting a Jacuzzi tub and it was just a one person jet tub in the bathroom. It’s got two smaller poles 3 feet to 4 1/2 feet. The pools are clean. I would stay there again.
