The tall Douglas firs circle this Saltbox house, that is a 5 minutes west of the town of Occidental and 7 miles from the Pacific beaches on 101.
It feels remote but this home actually has a dedicated fiber optic internet.
You can sit outside n 3 different areas. A roomy and welcoming kitchen is off the deck, the patio has a fire pit, and the lawn has a country picnic table with a cushion for you puppy and you to sit and snuggle.
Enjoy the clean air, the country feel of being away and with the convenience of a delicious meal at home or 3 miles down the road. As you drive you will pass some of Sonoma county grape vines. Wine tasting is country casual in Occidental, Graton and Sebastopol. You will find the nice dinner restaurants that serve local harvests of food and wine.
Hiking trails are in a mile either way you go. The property is just 1.5 hours away from San Francisco, if you chose to do a round trip in one day, or you need to go into the office. You can do the trip in one day.
