Family owned and run business, very quaint. Beautiful area with plenty of hiking trails and castles to explore. The hotel is in a little remote town near Heidelberg. We enjoyed our stay.

Zu den positiven Aspekten: die Zimmer sind als Themenzimmer eingerichtet, zum Teil mit vielen liebevollen Details. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet und die Bedienung dort waren sehr gut. Das Buffet reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Allerdings lässt der Service der Inhaber sehr zu wünschen übrig. Beim Check-In wurden wir recht unfreundlich begrüßt, die Buchung nicht überprüft. Wir fühlten uns, als ob wir bei einer wichtigen anderen Tätigkeit gestört hätten. Am nächsten Morgen wurde für das Frühstück Geld verlangt, obwohl in der Buchungsbestätigung keine Gebühren aufgeführt waren und auf Google und der Hotelwebseite ausschließlich die Info "kostenfreies Frühstück" zu finden war. Natürlich ist aber der Hotelinhaber nicht schuld, das läge alles nur an Expedia. Sehr ärgerlicher Nachgeschmack, der da verbleibt. Wäre ich beim Check-In darüber informiert worden, dass das Frühstück in der Buchung nicht inkludiert ist, hätte ich noch die Möglichkeit gehabt, das Frühstück abzulehnen. So aber bleibe ich jetzt auf den versteckten Kosten sitzen.

Wir haben spontan 3 Einzelzimmer gebucht. Der Empfang und der Chechin war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Ein kostenloser Parkplatz in Laufnähe stand uns auch zur Verfügung. Das kostenlose WLAN funktioniert leider je nach Smartponehersteller auf dem Zimmer nicht. Ein Zimmerwechsel zugunsten besseren Empfangs war problemlos möglich. Auch ein leckeres Abendessen haben wir spontan noch bekommen. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber völlig ausreichend, da super sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und am Frühstücksbuffet findet man was das Herz begehrt. Für 50€/Nacht plus Frühstück im Einzelzimmer absolut empfehlenswert.
