The property, although super well located, has a terrible hospitality strategy. I was not aware of the self check in. I never got an email from them. So, I arrived at 11AM and the doors were all locked and the not on the door was only in German. I cannot believe that a hotel in a place filled with Chinese tourists and many other nationals has only signage in German. Then, a hotel worker opened the door but she did not speak any English and after struggling to communicate I had a reservation via google translate, she told me I had to wait outside. Finally, a very friendly older man arrived, some 1.5 later (He worked the front desk and was making breakfast the morning after) and checked me in surprised that I had not received any emails.
Despite the views, I would not stay there again.
