Glückauf in the attic - beautiful and inexpensive

Spend the night where the miners live! Our friendly and cozy loft in the attic is located in the middle of a beautiful mining settlement. Look forward to modern 35 square meters with the perfect equipment for a holiday in the Ruhr area. Knappenglück is also the ideal basis for business trips in the Ruhr area! The living room and bedroom are modern and offer everything you need to feel good. A first coffee or tea is provided: a small supply of coffee, tea and cream is available in the kitchen. We have set up a seating and barbecue area in the garden. We want you to feel comfortable with us! The house at the end of a cul-de-sac is quiet and yet well connected to the motorways in all directions. The ideal starting point for excursions by bike. Buses take you quickly to the metropolis of Essen or to Centro Oberhausen in 5 minutes on foot. There are discounters and a supermarket nearby. A car is not required. In the neighboring town of Bottrop, you can go skiing on the heap or float in the air all year round. Industrial culture can also be admired in Duisburg in the Northern Landscape Park. A unique monument awaits you in 30 minutes, almost car-free, by bike on the old coal mine. The former metallurgical plant is the heart of the extensive park. You can climb in old coal bunkers and dive in the small gasometer. Beer garden, snack bar and restaurant complete the excursion. There is a real “Ruhrpott feeling” on the canal with a view of the gasometer - more is not possible!

Gute Bleibe für ein paar Tage Ruhrgebiet

Für unseren Aufenthalt war es genau das Richtige. Gasometer und Tetraeder schnell erreichbar. Einzig das Doppelbett ist etwas schmal, wobei die Möglichkeit besteht auf die Schlafcouch auszuweichen.
