Within a 10-minute walk from Morven Gardens, you will find yourself either in the centre of Oban or on a quiet single track road towards the lovely scenic Glen Shellach, with walks leading over the hills towards Gallanach and stunning views over the Firth of Lorn. A bustling west coast harbour town, Oban has lots going on for the visitor at any time of the year. Central for touring Argyll and known as the ’Gateway to the Isles’, with ferries leaving daily to many of the islands, such as Mull, Iona, Staffa and Lismore.
