The Space:
Beautiful setting in the trees overlooking Lewis Creek! This smartly renovated 1 bedroom 1.5 bath house is the perfect setting for a relaxing mountain getaway. Listen to the sound of water rushing by as you settle into the serenity of the great outdoors.
Winter may have snow and you MUST be prepared with chains and may need to walk to the home from the parking area.
We provide starter coffee and tea for your stay
Dog Rules:
*Pets must not be left unattended in the home at any time
*Pets are charged a $20 per pet per night fee, plus a refundable $150 pet deposit after booking.
* Any damage from your pet will be at the cost of the guest from pet deposit amount.
*Guest must pick up all pet waste and must not leave pet to roam the house unsupervised. A $50 fee will be charged if pet waste is not picked up. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and an additional cleaning fee may apply if there is excessive dog hair, stains or damage to furniture.
*Pet deposit will be returned within 2 weeks of departure as long as rules are followed and damages are not found
*Pets must be kept on a leash in all public areas (i.e. the driveway) at all times
*Failure to follow any pet rules will result in forfeiting your pet deposit

Guest Access:
*This listing is based on double occupancy, meaning there is a fee for each guest beyond 2 people. Day visitors are not allowed so EVERY PERSON on the property (including children and infants*) at any time must be on your reservation. Maximum guest occupancy is 4.

*Please note based on your parties size certain rooms will be locked up and inaccessible.
* Early checkin and Late check out MUST be a arranged in advance and will come with a charge. The Housekeeping company pays their staff by the hour, whether they are cleaning or waiting for guests to leave. In general they charge a fee of $25 per hour to alter the check in or check out time.

The Neighborhood:
While you will be in the mountains near to Yosemite you are also very close to the town of Oakhurst with markets and restaurants.

Getting Around:
You will need a car.
Note: At times Yosemite National Park requires reservations, see the official website for details, if you fail to get them you can take the YARTS bus or another tour into the park without reservations.

Other Things to Note:
While we try to keep salt, pepper and oil stocked for your convenience, it is not guaranteed.

The thermostat is set to allow you to set it to a minimum and maximum temperature. Should you need to exceed these temperature limits there are additional fees.

Please note: some roads from the East, such as Tioga Pass and Glacier Point are seasonal and are closed October through June.

Pack-n-play must be requested in advance.

PLEASE NOTE: We do have service providers (Gardner, pest control etc) that may be outside on the property during daytime hours, from time to time.

You will receive a fee request after booking to cover housekeeping expense. The housekeeping company charges $50 on checkouts on any of the previously mentioned holidays

Dogs must not be left in the home unattended or pet deposit will be forfeit.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not alter our cancellation policy for instances of rain, snow, smoke from fires, failure to get a National Park reservation or closures to the national park. Please purchase your travel insurance accordingly.

Lost and Found: All lost and found items will be kept for up to 7 days. Shipping cost and staff time to mail it back will be charged to the guest. The minimum fees to ship an item start at $50 and goes up depending on shipping cost.

Interaction with Guests:
We live about 30 minutes away and are available in an emergency. The best way to reach us is on the message stream on the website you booked through.
