Enjoy a peaceful Oak Island vacation floating in your private pool at Woodlands Wonder. This upstairs duplex unit enjoys exclusive access to the extensive pool deck as well as the above ground pool, and welcomes up to two dogs per reservation. The lower unit is occupied by a long-term tenant.
This cute cottage is both bright and beachy with hardwood floors in the living areas and LVP flooring in the bedrooms. Gather with friends and family in the comfortable living room, complete with a fireplace for cool weather visits. Cheer your favorite team to victory while watching the game on the 55-inch HD flat screen TV with surround sound and extended cable throughout the house. There is an open, well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a gas stove and ample cabinets. The dining table seats six comfortably, but there’s enough room to add one more and the nearby kitchen island offers additional seating with two bar stools. Ceiling fans are provided throughout for your comfort. the kitchen is well-stocked for all your cooking needs, up to and including an air-fryer.
The master bedroom has a king bed as well as a twin daybed that can convert to a double. Here you’ll find a second 55-inch flat screen TV along with a DVD player, displayed on a stand with a small electric fireplace to make this a truly romantic hideaway. The attached bath is equipped with a standard tub/shower combo with sliding glass door. The second bedroom is furnished with two double beds, a 32-inch flat screen TV, DVD/VCR combo and a small movie library. The adjoining hall bath also provides a standard tub/shower combo with sliding glass door.
Spend your evenings outside on the screen porch or side deck, both with plenty of seating. Tranquil Escape
My husband and I stayed a long weekend before Memorial Day. It was very peaceful and had everything we needed. the home was very clean and and look like it had been newly painted. the next time we come I hope to get in the pool . the pool opens at the end of May.

Drowning in fridge water
Fridge blew the evening of our first night and was throwing water everywhere. I heard it go at 3:30 in the am. My wife and I pulled the thing out of the wall turned off the water supply and spent the next 36 hours trying to dry it out move all the furniture and rugs out of harms way. We were exhausted! I called the property manager and they sent a guy who was nice but he only took away all of our towels and promised us to bring us a cooler for the groceries we just bought hours before. After a half a day went by we got a cooler and a “replacement fridge” meanwhile, all of our efforts were to prevent further damage from the water. The person who resided below our unit woke up to his entire ceiling caving in. After multiple calls to the vrbo people that weren’t returned, I called back and demanded to speak to a manager. When that person answered, she stated that they believe that we seemed perfectly happy and felt like they had done us right. We lost at least half of our vacation drying out their property and the other trying to communicate with them. At the end they decided that we could have a 10% credit to our stay. We, through our hard work, probably saved that homeowner thousands of dollars. We got a hundred bucks and were told that we should be happy with that.

House was clean, comfortable. Property management came whenever we needed them. We asked for a cutting board and they delivered a new one in 30 minutes!
