Enjoy beautiful marshland views overlooking Southport, Bald Head Island and the OKI lighthouse in quiet Caswell Beach from this quaint coastal cottage. Take in 360 views of it all on the rooftop deck perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset.

Equipped with three flat screen TVs including a 55" with Spectrum Cable in the living area along with a DVD player and wireless internet throughout. This vacation rental will strictly allow one dog only per reservation.

This home features new furnishes, appliances and flooring installed in 2021.

Rinse off in the outdoor shower and relax on the screened in porch by the gas fireplace or deck after a long day at the beach before ramping up to do it all over again the next day.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. Nice house in great location.Check-in process was difficult: there were no sheets on the beds and no bath towels in the bathrooms. We contacted the property manager and were told to look for the linen box, use an unlock code, and prepare the beds ourselves. None of this was mentioned in the check in directions. This was not resolved until the second day so we spent the first night just sleeping on mattresses with comforters and no showers. Many ceiling / fans lightbulbs were did not work as well. Nice house but management company needs work. This was not will be expected for the price.

Amazing

Here and Now was AMAZING!!!! perfect location, and that View!!!! Dog Friendly Yard, Screened in porches, one with a fireplace! Super Clean! Well stocked, linens and towels were sealed in bags! Great water pressure and plenty of hot water... If you need a negative to believe me, there is no icemaker, and at really high tides the water reaches into the fenceline! That's it, Beach and lighthouse are crazy close, watching ships pass from the rooftop deck was awesome!!! We WILL be back!!!

Relax and Get Back to Nature

We were surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the ICW, down the street from the Lighthouse, and public beach access. Cool widow walk where you can sun on the roof, up to date tv technology etc. Very spacious and clean. Ample towels and very quick response to questions.

Roaches, bad communication, no resolution

Property has a bug problem. They climb the walls while we watch movies. When you turn the lights on, they’re there. The property has maintenance issues as well, including broken door screens to the front screen porch. Tried to reach out to the property manager and it took two tries and a response to one of their “come back soon” emails before they responded. Door wasn’t fixed, bugs not addressed while we were there, and no resolution at all to our complaints. But they did say “sorry”. Spend your money elsewhere.

Nice porch and a lot of stairs

The view on the marsh side has great views of sunrises. The back porch was the best feature of the house for us. The linens were not in the house when I arrived at check-in time and OAI asked me to lug them up the steps myself, plus my own luggage. The spotlights over the front stairs either didnt work or we couldnt find the switch. The rest of my party arrived at night and we could have used light over the front stairs. There was no access to laundry. The rug in the living room has curled corners that kept tripping us so we had to move it out of the way. Didnt realize until after I booked that its quite a ways down the street, about 13 houses, from the public beach access on foot. You cant just walk across the street to get on the beach. The TV didnt seem to have access to local channels, only streaming apps that the guests have to use their own personal logins except Pluto was free.

Great views, good location & reasonably well mantained. Had an issue with missing linens upon arrival but resolved promptly with the property manager. Was an excellent stay overall.
