We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at Amaya Bed&Breakfast. From the very first moment we arrived, the owner, Johnny, made us feel genuinely welcomed and completely at home. He gave us a thoughtful tour of the property and shared amazing details about its history, immediately setting the tone for a special stay.
Walking inside, we were blown away by how beautiful and cozy the space is. The décor strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern — tasteful, elegant, and incredibly inviting. Every room felt thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. The living area, with its wood-burning fireplace and grand dining table where breakfast is served, quickly became one of my favorite spots in the house.
The bedrooms were also beautifully decorated, with some of the most comfortable bedding and pillows I’ve experienced in a while. (I even took a picture of the pillow tag so I could order one for myself!)
The true highlight of the weekend, however, was the cooked-to-order breakfast prepared by Johnny himself. Every detail was considered, the food was outstanding, and his warmth and attentiveness truly set him apart. He is one of the most pleasant and gracious B&B hosts we have ever encountered.
If you’re looking for quality, comfort, peace, and quiet, look no further — this is the place. As an added bonus, the backyard overlooks a beautiful stream and features a fully functioning jacuzzi for guests to enjoy. We can’t wait to return!
