We enjoyed a peaceful overnight stay at this hotel. Very friendly service and they have plenty of bikes to hire, which we did. The highlight was indeed a bike ride from the hotel to Elburg. Towards Elburg, we took a longer route which was very pleasant over rural farmland in pleasant evening summer sunshine. We had a brief look around Elburg, ate dinner outside in a restaurant and cycled back to the hotel the more direct route along the cycle path of the road. I cannot comment on breakfast as I didn't have any. The staff were very friendly and accommodating in everything. Many thanks....
Went here for a three days work conference. The staff was very service minded and helpful. The hotel in general is dated and could really use a do over. The room I got had a comfy bed, but felt like taken from the 70ies. The bathroom offered a shower with questionable water pressure. Breakfast offered a fairly wide selection. We had a great team dinner in the restaurant. The surrounding area offers plenty for outdoor activities, and there's a small fitness center with pool and sauna at the hotel. The price is very reasonable for what you get, so depending on your expectations I'd say it's well worth the money.
Everything was perfect! Nice and friendly staff! Nice environement. Extensively breakfast, everything was there, nothing failed. Big room to stay several days. We will recommend this hotel to friends.
Nh Sparrenhorst is everything we needed to reload and go back to work in Rotterdam. Because of the really good and personal care from Jeroen and Quinten during our stay we felt really welcome. You can ask for everything without any hesitation! Apart from the great service we also loved the veluwe it self. One day we went to the welness in Bussloo, the other day we did two hicking tours which we choose from an information book which was in our hotelroom. Loved the tours. Just loved everything and we are coming back for sure! Thank you NH Sparrenhorst.
The room wasn't.t very large but enough space for a short stay!!! Personal was very nice friendly and liked to explain the surroundings . We hired 2 e bikes to explore the nearby nature!! Dinner ( included) was very good ,I took a duck steak and my husband a real nice fish!!! The room had an outside terrace with 2 chairs and a table... so cute!!
It is all about the service! If you ever in NH Veluwe Sparenhorst, ask for Toon! This is the guy who will help you to choose the room where it FEELS good for you. I am in this hotel for business the second week in a raw. And i am grateful for the service I get at the reception. They think with you and find a solution for every need you come with.
The location of the hotel is very nice and also seems like an ideal location if you want to explore the area by foot. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very clean, a comfortable bed and a spacious room (a bit to warm maybe) I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and i have no complaints. My experience with NH hotels are overall very pleasant and this hotel is absolutely no exception. I would definitely stay here again when i'm back in this area.
My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for one night some years ago. This time we would stay for 6 nights over a 2 week period. We booked the wheelchair accessible room, and when we arrived my memory was jogged! My daughter's electric wheelchair didn't fit in the room! "No problem. We'll move you to the 2nd floor." But the wheelchair didn't fit in the lift. "No problem...the superior room on this floor will be perfect." And it was...nearly. There was plenty of space in the room and in the bathroom...but there was a bathtub, and I knew I couldn't lift my daughter in and out. Again, "no problem." The manager, Freek, made a quick decision. "You'll have the superior room AND you'll use the open shower in the other room. You'll have keys to both rooms." There wasn't any problem that Freek and his colleagues couldn't solve, and we gave them many challenges! What stands out the most and made the greatest impression was the sincere and genuine friendliness of all the staff, from front office to housekeeping and restaurant. The meals in the hotel dining room were excellent and service was great. I'd recommend this hotel for a getaway or a congress or seminar. The facilities are excellent. I hope we can return in the Spring.
I love this hotel for our short breaks, discovering this part of the Veluwe. It is very quiet, with great quality beds. Staff is very helpfull and organised. Renting a bike at the reception is easy and there are plenty of parking places.
It was a very last minute booking over the weekend and payed approx 152 euros for one night with breakfast in a superior room.Stayed with 2 young children. The hotel provided a baby cot although this was not clear on their website and I called to make sure. The purpose was to take the children to Apeldoorn and not have to rush back to The Hague. The hotel was 30 minutes away from Juliana Toren and Apenhaul. The room was spacious however no nice view as we were facing other rooms. I didn't understand why there was only one bathrobe and one pair of slippers when there were 2 adults. The breakfast was very good with a nice treat of little cakes perfect to start your day! It also has a good selection of fresh fruit, bread, yogurt, cold cuts, eggs and a waffle maker to make your own waffles. We enjoyed dinner in their restaurant and particularly loved the dessert (Tiramisu was excellently presented)! The 3 course summer menu (soup, main meal and dessert) cost approx 25E each. They do have a kids menu as well. The children enjoyed the cozy indoor pool. Breakfast and check out on Sunday is until 12 noon which was great! The staff were very polite. It was a pleasure staying here!
