The building is nice, the physical space of the hotel is clean & well maintained . It is energy efficient, motion sensor lights in the corridor, room key needs to be inserted for power in the room. The room was alright, basic & clean. There is no fridge or microwave in the room & the only ice machine is on the 4th floor. There is virtually no water pressure in the sink nor any hot water. There was somewhat tepid water to have a shower with! I guess they are energy efficient to the point of not providing hot water to the rooms. The staff are friendly enough.
Great place to stay the price was good the air conditioning was wonderful and very clean and the breakfast was great. This is a very new facility a little bit out of town as you just entering. There was a pool and gymnasium which proved to be very nice
After a long day of driving north we decided to stop for the night in Nuevo Laredo before we crossed the border. I think you can get a lot more for your money on the Mexico side, but it's a mixed bag. Most people would advise you not to stop in this city, but it looked relatively safe online. This hotel is newer, very convenient to the bridge, located along the outside loop of the city on a road with not a lot of traffic. It is a quiet area of town. I would have felt better if the hotel had secure parking, however, and there was an unoccupied guard shack and no gate. There's a ramp that goes underground, but that's not parking. We didn't have any problems but we unloaded our whole car and took everything up to our room. The pool water was very cold, even though the temps were close to 100F, probably because it's completely covered from the sun. We were disappointed we didn't get to enjoy it, we tried but it was too cold for our infant, even for me, to be in for more than a few minutes. We also had trouble getting hot water to our room, the knobs didn't make any sense.... once we finally figured it out, the hottest it would get was kind of lukewarm-ish. They gave us one small bottle of water for the whole room and charged us 10 pesos for additional bottles. One bottle isn't enough; you need to choose whether to brush your teeth or make a pot of coffee. Now the good: the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was clean. The breakfast was excellent, and had chilaquiles (my favorite!), refried beans, eggs, vegetables, fruits and cereals. The breakfast was a great value! The guy at the front desk helped us order delivery from a local Mexican restaurant. The A/C worked perfectly. We had some noisy neighbors but we could only hear them when they were in the hall and opening/closing their door loudly—once they were in their room, we couldn't hear anything! So I'm actually counting that as a plus for the construction. Overall, I would probably stay here again; but it was just a little bit less nice than I expected it to be.
I go to Nuevo Laredo very often for weekend get away and doctors visit and every time I love to stay here the rooms are nice, bed very comfortable. The price are fair including breakfast which is very good. Very nice pool and gym.
Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Location is great, 10 minutes from border bridge; Building and amenities in excellent shape; Friendly and Savvy staff, Very adequate amenities; Breakfast variety was just great, a little different every day. Great location!
This property is clean, green,(key required to turn on lights) and comfortable. There are no restaurants nearby but the parking lot is shared by the local police. The Military was also near by, but they have recently been relocated. There is a breakfast of sorts included. It's often cold and not many choises. One good point. I had hidden 2 electronic devise in my room.....slightly paranoid😏. Anyway we left without them. I called the hotel through the IHG 800 number. They connected me with the front desk. I explained the situation. She didn't know what to do as it was after hours. So I told her to send security to the room and collect the items. They found them and held them for a friend of ours to pick them up. They would not release the items until they received an email from me naming our friend. And our friend has to show ID. All was handled professionally and courteously.
I didn't expect it to be that good....building is new, spacious lobby and excellent room with everything you need. overall very pleasant.. No restaurant at the hotel but breakfast was included and excellent.
I have driven down to Mexico the last two years and have stayed at this hotel for at least a night both times. When you cross the border by bridge to enter Mexico it is less than three miles away. It is actually the first hotel avaiable and very easy to find. The rooms are great and there is a nice breakfast included. This for sure will be my border crossing hotel of choice in the future.
This hotel is pretty new, nice and comfortable. However, there is A LOT of noise all day long, since they are building their 5th floor. Also, there is no restaurant at the hotel, and there are no restaurants nearby. For lunch or dinner you must order meals and they will take more than an hour to arrive.
No doubt about the security: we were greeted by the military in sandbagged posts around the hotel, and a presence of a platoon staying in the building. The room was lovely, the bathroom renovated in modern style, but the room lacked a second chair and a coffee maker (both had been removed). As we planned to leave early to cross the border, we requested a simple breakfast before the breakfast room opened. We were delighted to find the kitchen staff had prepared a full breakfast for us to take away. Very helpful people.
