I have stayed in this hotel many times in the past and it was great, but now the quality of the hotel and staff has dropped dramatically. They no longer have coffee cups in the rooms, they provide plastic & styro-foam cups. The towels are dingy and our bathroom electrical outlet did not work. The hotel is located out on the bypass by itself, it is out of the way from all restaurants and shopping.
pasamos la noche en el hotel, muy tranquilo y seguro porque alli estaban hospedados la policia federal y el personal muy amable, desayuno gratis muy rico ,la cena muy cara y no esta buena
My first trip to Nuevo Laredo, and I was a little concerned being a blonde blue eyed female traveling with a toddler. But the hotel was adequate, we enjoyed the fresh free breakfast every morning and the pool during the hot days. We also visited the zoo which is a couple miles right up the road as well as the water park. Take a right and it is another straight shot past factory's like SONY and Caterpillar to Wal-Mart, the mall and other American restaurants. Our window faced the river dividing US/Mexico and we saw several instances of the border patrol on boats, SUV's, and in helicoptors patroling/searching. The weight room is very minimal and aged. The hotel appears aged but not dirty. The front desk spoke english and spanish and were very helpful with directions. The ice machine is on the second floor. No fridge in room. The holiday inn express in Poza Rica, MX of vera cruz was more impressive than this one the last time we visited in January but for this area I was pleased with the accomadations.
The hotel was very clean the rooms and bfast in the morning were fantastic. The staff was very nice ... I had forgotten my iPhone charger in the states but the receptionist directed me to a walmart that was near by with a map that he gave me, the pool was ok nothing to brag about seemed clean I just didn't get in it .... Security was wonderful and the parking guys at 2am in the morning were very considerate about our safety in this country one of them even said may god be with y'all in a very sincere way :) overall goo place to stay.
We stayed at the Hotel one night, very clean, comfortable and a great location and very easy to find.
Nice place, clean room and exelent breakfast.
This was a very nice hotel to stay at. It was a quiet hotel and I was able to relax in a comfortable setting. I felt safe leaving my vehicle in the paking lot. The parking lot is watched at night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and courteous. The hotel is easy to find but is away from the main stores in town but I loved the peacefulness of the location! I would stay there again on my next trip.
