Very nice place to stay. Most of the staff is great, very helpful, understanding. The place is very nice and clean. Very well maintain and clean. Overall a great experience and would come back and recomend to anybody
rooms needs updating new carpets, severe humidity smell. have traveled for 7 years and no updates have not been done. curve appeal is nice. meals are great. iron and hair dryer are great accessories, soap and shampoo needs to be change for better fragance.
We went to visit family for Thanksgiving break. My original room on the 2nd floor was awful... It smelled like feet. The carpet was gross, there was mildew on the ceiling and the wall outlets and handles were full of grime/grease. I couldn't force myself to sleep there. I asked for a different room and we were put in a studio on the 4th floor, it was an improvement but still not like other City Express hotels we've stayed at. They don't vacuum, the crew looks uncaring and spread thin, the elevator was broken....just seems to be poorly managed. Parking is over crowded. We are thankful to be back home.
Its was a nice hotel the rooms were nice also the servise was good i enjoyed my stay we come every year. Weve had no problems so far the only thing is we had to request towels. The location was okay i hope to stay again soon
Customer service was terrible. There was no running water in the morning. Talked to the front desk and notified them about the absence of running water. She said okay and someone showed up to check on the plumbing but never came back and explained to me why there was no running water. I checked out of the hotel without taking a shower.
Overall was good but when I enter the room super hot and it took a long time to cool off. Everything else was great. Breakfast was good too. I am planning on going back hopefully soon. I definitely will recommend it.
It was good, all as expected, the only thing I could mention is that seems the guys attending at front desk were under training which is fine but there was an old man who could accelerate the process if he was just doing nothing, I also asked for the TV remote control to change the channel at the lobby and this guy at front desk was kinda rude like if he was doing me a favor... nobody else was watching the TV ¬¬... Other that that everything was cool.
We had stay here before but this time around the receptionist were rude and unacomodating. The hotel has a restaurant & if it is full you won't find parking you will be advised to park in any spot but they are not responsible if your car gets hit by a vehicle leaving. Overall room was clean, Ac cool, I guess if u don't mind the parking issues it is ok if u are just passing by.
Great Price, Clean Room, Great Breakfast. The staff seem really on top of things and vigilant. It is easy to get to from both bridges and offers a great value for those passing to or through Nvo. Laredo. It is certainly far cheaper than alternatives in Laredo. We had such a great experience that we have stayed in other City Expresses in other cities.
This hotel has very bad service. When we arrived, the desk clerk did not speak english (their advertisement indicates english speaking staff as a benefit of staying in their hotel). She did not look up my reservation and charge me more than I had reserved the room for. the room I reserved was supposed to be main floor with 2 double beds and she gave us the 3rd floor with one double bed. She changed the room for us but would only give us the 2nd floor. After many attempts, we finally got someone to understand that the rate we reserved at was lower than the rate we had to pay and they refunded some of the money. The hotel offers free shuttle service within 7 kms of the hotel. When we tried to book the shuttle, we were told that this was not available at this time and we would have to call a taxi. This experience was really one of the worst we have had while in Mexico. Just a note that there free wifi is not at all secure and i would not recommend that you use it for anything you do not want others to have access to. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
