I would stay hear again, if there was noting else available. Hotel is not bad, but not great either, especially for the price paid. Reception very busy and took a while to check in. Rooms are ok, but not much better than a Premier inn.
Yes, I really like this place. Great location, not far from rail station and close to castle and city centre amenities. Friendly staff. Room was big, clean and cool. Good quality breakfast. A bit pricey, but you pay for what you get and this place was certainly worth it. As an aside, there was a welcoming gift in my room of fruit and chocolates, delivered to the wrong room by mistake, but they let me keep it. A nice gesture thank you very much. I will recommend and stay again next time I'm ever in Town.
Had a fantastic stay at the park plaza hotel. and we were upgraded to the king suite which was a nice surprise. The room was clean, very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We ordered room service and the food came fairly quickly. My friend had the steak sandwich which looked tasty and I had the tuna melt baguette. We were pleased that check-out was 12 which gave us time to relax in the room and enjoy the facilities. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.
Had problems with the room on two days out of five, the same problem, once you can accept but twice is unforgivable. The management dealt with the problems and was resolved very well. I thoroughly recommended the Chino Latino Restaurant it was fabulous
2 weeks of meetings and so well organised. Very well serviced by staff. Different food everyday and really good food at that. The room was great airy and comfortable. This was an ideal place for our meetings and would use it again.
Hotel is good but the staff is not attentive. Our AC was not working and they failed to acknowledge the problem, despite repeated calls. Also, they did not change our room and offered us a table fan in the room. Finally, the AC was fixed the second day that too with repeated chase.
The hotel is centrally located, which was fine for a college reunion weekend, as we were not walking far to pubs, or a restaurant. Check-in took an age. The room was o.k. Breakfast was o.k. It was just o.k.
i stayed here for 5 nights, it is a really nice hotel & i had breakfast, they have a really huge variety of breakfast treats you can have depending on how you feel. The staff are really nice & my hotel room was huge, very spacious. Only small downfall is when you call housekeeping, they never pick up, so i had to go to reception to report anything i needed. it is in a good location too, close to city & the bars. only about 5 minutes walk or less.
I felt there were many issues with this hotel, room was cold, not clean in some areas, shower screen broken and the breakfast restaurant was overcrowded. I did not feel it was great value for money at £98.
Poor customer service on arrival, no bottled water in the room and when taking a bath the water was mild at best. The room temperature was crazy high and there was no way to turn down! No one could help when we asked!
