I am still in dispute with this hotel as they charged me two different amounts twice on two different days. They assured me it was an error but the money has not yet been refunded to my bank account, despite two telephone calls and two emails. Additionally, this hotel is overpriced. A friend and I, due to attend a wedding, decided on this hotel because it claimed to offer secure, onsite parking. On the second day there our parking space had been taken so we had to return to the wedding. In the positive side, the bedrooms are clean and the staff welcoming.
Stayed in the park plaza for 2nights 9-11 February for my husband's birthday weekend away. The hotel is really lovely, very clean & modern.we had a superior room on the 10 floor & the room was spacious & comfortable.the staff were excellent & I would highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was excellent with great choice. The location is perfect so central to the city centre & yet the rooms are quiet.would stay at the Park Plaza if in Nottingham again.
Close to city centre, Castle and Theatres. Many restaurants close by. Did feel the breakfasts were overpriced. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and our room was large with a very comfortable bed and the shower (over bath) was hot and powerful.
Just returned having stayed here Saturday night visiting Nottingham for a friends Birthday . Upon arrival disappointed as roo not quite ready but very polite reception staff were quick to offer refreshments while waiting . Shortly after given key to our room which was huge never ever have we seen a bed so large spotless very nicely decorated plenty of bathroom products . We had a very good comfy nights sleep and went for breakfast next morning enormous amount of variety from juices to jams ham cheese yogurts cerals and of course full cooked English eggs poached scramble fried what ever you prefer . All staff from reception to cleaners and breakfast went above and beyond to make your stay comfortable . Thanks to all staff for a lovely weekend
Stayed for a night was in good location Room was clean tv was good. I enjoyed thanks guys. Can’t say anything for breakfast cos as always didn’t had breakfast. I would say if anyone looking somewhere central it’s good to stay.
The room was the size of a broom cupboard and there was no hot water to have a shower in the morning . Ive stayed here many time but on this occasion I used Booking.com to book a cheap last minute deal and it’s clear the room is not of the standard you get if. You book in advance. Normally the rooms are quite good so don’t stay on the top floor in room 1014,(I think it was) any way it’s just to the left & leftvas you excit the lifts. Well I’ve think I’ve waffled enough to submit the minimum 200 words required to submit a review
Great stay. Hotel rooms are nice, bed very very nice. Breakfast had everything you could want in the morning. the hotel has a safe and space underground. We didn't get around to the gym. Stayed here before and will again.
The Park Plaza is very well located in the centre of Nottingham. This is exactly what I needed as I wanted to visit a few pubs and eat at a restaurant in the centre. We got an excellent price on the rooms. There were 5 delegates but we found the meeting room was expensive. The bedrooms were clean and very well equipped with Sky channels and access to the football if wanted. Excellent for the price which we managed for £63 pppn. Parking was a little difficult and extra at £15 overnight but given we were in the centre it was acceptable.
Upon a very positive check in I received my room key. The smell of the room I received was terrible resembling stale cigars. I immediately requested a change of room and was offered another room on a different floor. To my disappointment the room was dirty and untidy. The toilet was soiled and there were long hairs on the bath and sink. The bed cover had very visible stains and the bed was badly made. My first impression was that someone had just used this room and left.
Stylishly designed hotel with ample bedroom space to relax and unwind. Staff are extremely accommodating and the food is divine. At £60 a night it really is excellent value for money. Excellenct location to reach the heart of Nottingham. Lots of information available in the rooms to help you navigate the highlights of the city. I shall definitely be returning!
