Awesome home in Palazzolo Acreide

In the heart of the baroque area of Val di Noto, a UNESCO site, in southwestern Sicily, is this property that in the fifties was the prestigious home of Cardinal Carpini (old pictures still present), and in today is offered as a vacation home with large swimming pool. During the renovation the original style has been maintained. The structure consists of a main building and various outbuildings, one of which is located in the pool area. All rooms that were once the old stables or warehouses have been converted into bedrooms with bathrooms in addition to those in the villa. In the villa: large living room of 70 m2 with large fireplace and large kitchen. The house is surrounded by a large fenced property with vineyards, olive trees, almond trees and other fruit trees, hiking trails. Verandas and well-kept outdoor areas with plants and trees, equipped for outdoor dining, relaxation and fitness, barbecue, beautiful swimming pool on a green hill not far from the house. 3 km from Palazzolo Acreide, one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy, with ancient Greek theater, baroque churches and palaces. Not far from the archaeological site of Castelluccio di Noto. 28 km Noto, one of the late Baroque cities. 41 km the art city of Syracuse, a UNESCO site. About 34 km from the beautiful coast of Syracuse, characterized by white sand and emerald sea, with the popular beaches of Lido di Noto, Avola Marina and Marzamemi.

Beautiful country estate

What a lovely well-kept property with plenty of room for our family to enjoy! From the separate quarters to the main living/dining/kitchen, beautiful grounds and pool, we felt very comfortable and at home. The hosts were delightful and welcoming. We also enjoyed the valley views and the charm and delicious food found in Palazzolo Acreide.
