Poor property

The check in was easy and the property itself was nice. The management was very poor. The pool was dirty and we didn’t see a pool person for five days so we ended up having to clean it out and add salt to the pool ourselves to make it safe for us to swim. Also, the property had the smell of sewage throughout our stay that was very strong in the end two rooms and laundry room. Also, this property is a very long walk from the beach.

Great House

Place is great and the pictures are as advertised. Beds super comfy, AC works great, plenty of hot water. Location is private and secluded. Kitchen is great and well appointed. It is a really nice villa and would stay here again. We rented a golf cart that was malfuncting and the house manager was able to quickly resolve and get us a refund with no fuss, which we really appreciated and their recommendations for activities were excellent.

Family Holiday

Cuatro Monos is one of the most thoughtfully designed homes and is exceptionally well appointed. As a family of five with three teens ages 18, 16, 14 this home proved the ideal home base for our pause in Nosara. When we left each of us articulated hopes of a return stay in Cuatro Monos. Too, the Blue Sands concierges are exceptional. They coordinated our travel to and from the Liberia airport, arranged our golf cart rental, and made several supper reservations for us. The coffee tour, ziplining, and surf lessons they planned, all, proved to be exceptional adventures. Really cannot say enough positive about the Blue Sands folks.

Amazing stay at Cuatro Monos!

We had a fabulous week at Cuatro Monos! The house is beautiful, well stocked, very clean and came with cleaning service as well as pool maintenance. We are a family of 6 and all 4 kids (ages 17-24) had an amazing time. The concierge service was incredibly helpful, check in was easy, it is in a great location a short walk from Bodhi Tree as well as a short golf cart ride to a wonderful organic grocery, the beach, restaurants, etc. There are several layers of security, but the instructions were super easy to follow and it all worked well. There are things to get used to in Nosara like you will not always have piping hot water, but this did not impact our trip at all. Who cares as it is warm and humid outside so a nice cool shower feels pretty good! I also do not think their septic system is the best as occasionally we would have a strong sulfur smell in the house, but I imagine this happens all over Guiones as there is rapid development in this area. Overall, I cannot recommend this house enough. We will definitely be back!

Was locked in property on first night with family couldn’t get off property (had to break out of gate). We had no hot water for 6 days last night after workers there all week finally got hot water. The gate broke on night 5 so it didn’t work anymore had to manually get in and out. After night of storms 2nd master suite water poured In during rain to the point looks like ceiling is gonna fall in water all over floor. Jack and Jill suite one room had water running u set the wall onto the floor. Master after cold showers smells like a septic tank to the point you have to open all windows and close that section from other part of house. The company handling didn’t always respond it felt like I was bothering them. For this price I expected so much more. The first night of vacation was ruined as was the last night. The gates and doors were hard to use only a couple of us could figure them out. Had a power issue that for no reason breakers would blow and things wouldn’t work. Felt like if there was a fire we would be locked in. All windows and sliding doors require a key to open from the inside but only had two keys and they tell you to lock them all. They will only open with a key!! That’s a it. It’s a no go and they never tried to compensate after we left told them about the flooding the night before. Never heard from them again. This property is a no go. We come to nosara twice a year for years. This is not acceptable!!!

Paradise

Beautiful property! I hope I can come back again next year. Location was roomy, quiet and safe. We walked to the beach every morning for a swim and then Bohdi for yoga. House was so clean and comfortable. Lots of towels and linens for swimming and pool lounging. Concierge was so so helpful with bookings and questions. Highlights were the snorkeling trip and Coffee farm experience with Kenneth. One of our best finds ever! Enjoy
