ABOUT CASA ESCONDIDA

Nestled in the serene Blue Spirit community, Casa Escondida is a peaceful two-bedroom home surrounded by tropical forest and lush gardens. This modern retreat combines privacy and comfort with a fully equipped kitchen, covered terrace, and a 42-foot swimming pool—perfect for morning laps or a refreshing dip in the shallow end designed for children. Located just five minutes from the southern end of Playa Guiones, it’s the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility.

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

There is ongoing construction in the Blue Spirit neighborhood that may result in some noise during the morning and afternoon hours. Construction takes place Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no work on Sundays.

Blue Spirit Community | South Guiones | Nosara, Costa Rica

Casa Escondida offers easy access to both Playa Guiones and Playa Garza. Guests can drive five minutes to the beach or take a 12–15 minute walk to the Blue Spirit Retreat Center. Playa Garza provides calm swimming, local dining, and fishing charters, while Guiones Village offers surf, yoga, shopping, and restaurants—all within minutes.

A car is recommended for convenience, but taxis and airport shuttles are available. Multi-week discounts apply, and for stays of 30 days or longer, electricity is billed separately.



LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT

Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages. Construction noise is also possible between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the area continues to grow.

If reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided.

These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences.

SAFETY & CANCELLATION

While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations.

Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security bars when available. A private guard can be arranged upon request.

Even with precautions, theft can happen. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager cannot be held responsible for lost items.
