I liked very much the decoration with all these fireplaces and the menu you have. .Also the rooms were very comfortable and the most important near the train station.Last all the people were very frindly
We flew in from US, took train to Kassel, arrived at hotel around 10:30 am and were able to get an early check in, which was fantastic ... allowed us to get an hour or so rest and clean up before heading to our meetings ... everything went very well ...
Noice both from traffic, Train station, corridor and HVAC/ water pipes. Had a hard time to sleep first night due to Heavy noice from HVAC system or similar. Asked for repaire of this or new room, without any feedback. Noice still not repaired NeXT evening, got then new room. Rooms a bit old fashioned and could need refurbishment. Breakfast of good quality. Excellent location Next to Wilhelmshøhe Railway statoin. Trams available just outside. Shopping nearby. Kassel city center by tram, not within walking distance.
nice stay, proper breakfast with wide variety of products, good and comfortable bed and pillows, nice dinner at the evening, overall we were happy with our stay, internet was working very slowly so it is place to improve
Easy walk from train station and Kassel tram. Every entrance/exit from the property requires running a gauntlet of smokers puffing away right at the front door. Rooms are kept hot (70°C/21°C) and have no individual climate control. Only bed covering is thick comforter. Rooms look like ones you'd find at a youth hostel which is out of line for the price per night. Front desk refused to change length of stay as it had been made through my firm's booking agent. Traveling companion who stayed at Best Western 100 yards/meters away had no problem changing his reservation.
Was staying there for 2 nights during an exhibition. Nice looking hotel and friendly staff. Rooms were clean. Location is very close to train station. Neighbourhood has many restaurants. Would recommend it!
The internet connection was horrible, even the premium paid was not acceptable. They provide water for the room but only once. So even though I stayed a week, I got one bottle of water. Breakfast was too expensive.
Convenient location, close to the train station. Rooms are comfortable, well equipped and quiet. The only drawback is that the "free" internet is actually so slow that it's almost impossible to use it. One has to upgrade to a "premium" service which costs 7,50 Euro per day (or 17 Euro for three days). Breakfast is also a bit expensive (7,50 Euro), but there is a large choice of food and drinks,
Handy to be so close to train station. Not disturbed by any noise from trains. Check in was smooth but slow. Rooms ok, requested non smoking but unfortunately 1 of the 4 rooms we booked had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Requested move which was fulfilled but did feel it was an inconvenience to the staff and there was no apology. Room was of a good size and bed was comfy. Ordered food in the bar in the evening but was told after 45 mins that they forgot to put the order in, so ended up eating extremely late. Breakfast was good and nice selection, especially the fresh fruit.
This hotel is in a fantastic location, next to the train station where you can also catch trams in any direction. The rooms are very nice, clean and modern and the toiletries superb. Breakfast was also really very good, great choice. Good 24hr bar, lovely friendly staff. The only thing that let the experience down was the wifi, which was abysmally slow. Apart from that i would highly recommend this hotel.
