Lovely spot for a pit stop.

This hotel is in a lovely location. Dinner was tasty; breakfast was well above our expectations. Our room was not perfect but was clean. The standout for us was Ethan, who from the first minute we walked into the building, went out of his way to make our stay a happy one.

A Norfolk Country Inn with potential.

Scarborough Country Inn was easy to find, in beautiful surroundings [even in the winter] and we were well looked after. I know the owners are in the process of refurbishing the property and would suggest that double-glazing would be worthwhile upstairs. The bed [except the headboard] was really comfortable, the bedroom was nice and warm but the en-suite would be better with a radiator or heated towel rail and a shelf to hold wash-bags etc. The food was excellent and the staff pleasant and helpful. We will happily return again - after the improvements are complete.

The hotel is undergoing revamp by new ownets. The ground floor which is restaurant bar and reception are very nice. Our room was okay just needed updating a bit, bathroom needed attention. The bath had black mould around the edges, Bed mattress needs changing as you could feel the springs.I expect this will be seen to as they move up the hotel revamping.

Excellent friendly country pub hotel

Very friendly family owned place. Excellent service and very comfortable. Perhaps needs a little refurbishment in places but really cannot fault it for value. Excellent dinner and good spirit selection in bar.

Very attentive and pleasant staff. If bedroom refubished to similar standard to dining room then this will improve the whole experiance. Stairs very steep and hand rail required on short flight. Food excellent. Great potential when updated.

The general internal condition of the hotel is a little tired and would benefit from refurbishmen; which I understand is to be addressed. The shower in our room was poor but more importantly, the food was excellent and the service first rate.

Very disappointed

For a 3 star hotel, the facility was very dated. I was disappointed as it stated I was to have a twin room due to staying with my son, but was given a double. The decor in the room was dated and dirty. The bathroom was horrible. Side of the bath broken. Breakfast was average. Customer service throughout was excellent. Definitely not a stay with children.

Stay at hotel near North walsham

Food at dinner on first night good as was service. Breakfast ok but choice of continental limited. Tea tray in room ok but bottled water would be nice also. Room was over front door which slammed when closing. Could also clearly hear other guests talking when in the room. Hotel looks tired and certain parts could do with a spring clean.

Rural location, close to Norwich

Stayed here for one night whilst attending our daughter's graduation in Norwich. We stayed in the Tack Room, which comprised a downstairs double bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/ living room. Upstairs were 2 bedrooms which contained a double and a single bed in each.
