Open plan renovated living room, kitchen, dining, leading to the private screened-in patio. One huge bedroom with a king bed. Stunning beach views in a 3 Acre Site with 675 feet of beach frontage. On site Pool, tennis court, gym, game room, two beaches, and Rum Point Club next door. The area directly in front and to the left of the Retreat is a designated and protected marine park. The snorkelling is excellent right in front of the complex. Sunsets are often enjoyed from the private beach all year round. This quieter side of the island provides peace and tranquillity. Head next door to Red Sail for motorized and non-motorized water sport options or excursions to Stingray city or scuba diving when you are ready for some action.

This was an incredible trip! The Retreat at Rum Point was the most amazing place, everything we hoped it would be and more. The beach where it's situated is STUNNINGLY beautiful, it's right next to the Rum Point Club where we went everyday, the pool is lovely and never crowded, and it's just a 2-3 min drive to other great places like Kaibo Beach, which has a coffee shop, restaurant and beach amenities, and Starfish Point. The condo is way nicer in person, the photos do not do it justice. The only problems were ants in the kitchen (already there when we arrived) and I would not recommend that anyone stay on the pull-out couch. Our little kids managed, but it's really not ideal for anyone. Overall we loved this place and can't wait to return!!

Excellent location right on the beach with all the amenities you need in the place (blender, coffee maker, adequate toilet paper and paper towel as well as dish and laundry soap). Had an excellent time and would come again!

The rental location and layout worked well for us, but the mattress on the bed was not comfortable at all. Simply upgrading the mattress to a new better quality and providing pillows that don't have stains on them wound increase my review rating to 5- star.

Great, spacious place by the beach. The Rum point restaurant and bar is so close, we spent our days in their sun chairs. The bed was comfortable, but I would not recommend the pull out sofa for adults. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances. However pots and pans are not in good shape. Unfortunately cleanliness wasn’t up to our liking.

1st Trip to Grand Cayman

Owners were amazing. Everything was just as described if not better. We renewed our vows and they arranged for fresh flowers and the minister for the day of. We had a terrific experience. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again.

Lovely first floor condo in Rum Point. Accommodating team that manages property. Clean home with everything you need for beach and water. We appreciated the supplies that were left for our use. Spices, coffee and filters, cleaning supplies and paper goods. There were two bikes, snorkeling equipment and umbrellas included. We will definitely rent again.

Good location, but had complications

I received an email stating “here are your keys to your trip” or whatever a few days before our vacation, so I assumed that was all I needed to check in, but I was very wrong. There was no access code (which I thought was strange but I have stayed in short term rentals where I didn’t need one so I didn’t think too much about it). You need an access code. I had no cell phone reception, there is no public WiFi, so I had to find another person staying there that let me use their WiFi, and thankfully had the same hosts because I messaged the hosts through Vrbo, called the number and got no answer, so used this other lady’s sheet to call a host and got ahold of someone that gave me my code. I did not receive a reply to my message (I had also been told they would have a pack and play for my 2yo that was not there, so I messaged about that shortly after my message about being locked out) until about 4-5hours later (about 10pm).This unit is also close to the exhaust for the septic system (the pipes are outside the front door) so there is a foul odor. This bothered my husband a lot as he’s a plumber and recognized was it was.The location is convenient and quiet. Even though it was pretty windy most days, we were still able to do some decent snorkeling and see turtles and stingrays by the rum point dock (to the left of the unit, there is a smaller dock to the right that has more fish). To the left of the rum point dock there is also a nice area for swimming and kids to play

Perfect on beach

This condo is perfect. We had the most relaxing stay in GC. It’s miles from the cruise ships and 7 mile beach. The condo had everything we needed and steps away from private beach with the best snorkeling. Run point bar and restaurant was right beside us too. Couldn’t ask for more. Only place I would stay in Caymans now. Sunrise and sunset just outside our door. Very close to starfish point and stingray. Loved the condo.

Amazing vacation.

This is a great property and location. We have stayed in this complex several times and love the area. We had an issue with the garbage disposal, but the management team sent over someone very quickly and fixed it. Only complaint is no large baking dish or large frying pan, but we made do. We would definitely stay here again.

Unbelievable Stay!

This property was truly a retreat! It had everything imaginable in the condo. Nice, quiet, peaceful condo setting, right on the water. We felt like we were the only ones there. Rum Point’s Solis Restaurant next door, incredible snorkeling under the Rum Point pier, and a warm pool to end the evening in. We swam with turtles, stingrays, and beautiful fish right in front of the condo. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

No crowds and quiet

This location and place was perfect as it was away from the cruise ships and crowds. We had a rental car and it’s easy to get around the island. Restaurants like Kaibo, Calypso and Tukka are good and not far. Place was clean and they had everything to make us feel at home.

Rum Point trip

Lovely location, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful area with outstanding views of the ocean. We enjoyed coffee every morning under our favourite palm tree watching the gentle waves roll in to the sandy shore. If you are looking to relax this is the place!

Rum point peaceful haven

Nice stay. Communication with owner wonderful. And few issues resolved quickly. Enjoyed bike with great safe rides to Kaibo and starfish point. Proximity to Rum beach is nice and they were in the process of opening restaurant. Beaches fair with shallow water and lots of grass but very calm and enjoyable. Appreciated the umbrella that was purchase for our stay. Place was well stocked with plates and cooking utensils. Would definitely return.

Rum Point Gem!

Perfect location. Perfect house. Very clean. As pictured. This was our third visit to the Cayman islands. We chose to stay in Rum Point this time for the beautiful snorkeling and this property was perfect. Very quiet and low key.
