Girls weekend

We had such a great time celebrating our friends 60th birthday. The house was spectacular and the views amazing. Lots of great wineries in the area. The owner Sally was easy to contact and accessible whenever you had a question. I would highly recommend booking your next vacation at Sally’s place.

A gorgeous location with an amazing view. I highly suggest stocking up on food. There is no food delivery in the area for days when you want to do nothing.

Housekeeping

Need a new housekeeper. There was coffee left in coffee pot. Floors dirty. When we walked around our feet were black. Found multiple screws in driveway. Guessing from contractor. Needs better air conditioning. Owner did reply promptly and had supplies delivered. Great views.

Second stay

We loved this house so much when we came in 2021 that my daughter wanted to come back again. Our stay was just as wonderful this time. The location is perfect, the view is beautiful, the house has plenty of room and there’s so much to do there in the water and inside. Such a great owner too. We’ll be back again.

Wonderful vacation stay

My biggest complaint is that we only stayed 4 nights! I would have loved to spend one week or two to fully enjoy this beautiful property. That said, everything was so nice at this property. So much space for all of us to spread out. (3 couples plus one adult) we loved hanging out on the deck when it wasn’t raining! One note to others, big outdoor staircase to get down to house, and a long hilly walk outdoors to dock area. The furnishings are lovely and so comfy! Sally was easy to communicate with. Would love to stay again!

First Time at Sodus Bay

This was the first time for our family at Sodus Bay and everything met our expectations. The house was neat and well decorated, exactly as advertised and had all the amenities that we needed for two adults and six teenagers. The kids enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks and fishing off the dock during the day and shooting pool and playing board games in the lower level during the evenings. This was perfect as it allowed the adults some quiet time on the deck with an adult beverage. Everything you need for day to day is very close but if you do venture out the vineyards around the northern end of Seneca Lake are only about 45 minutes away and Niagara Falls was two hours making for a fun day trip. Add in the golf course 5 minutes from the house and we had all we could need. The property owner was very responsive and kind and kept us up to date and checked in on us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful spot on the Bay

Wonderful location. Quiet street. What a view of the Water! We enjoyed 3 nights during the PGA Championship. Owner was a real Joy to work with. We could tell that she enjoys sharing her property with her guests. Comfortable beds, great kitchen, awesome deck and views. What more could we ask for! Loved it.

Nice house. Beautiful view.

We had a nice 5 day stay with 2 adults and 3 children. The setting was beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing over the lake and taking in the scenery. The house was nice and as advertised. Host was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. Each upstairs bedroom had AC which was nice. Basement bedroom did not which made it a bit hot for sleeping some evenings. Dock and area around the water could use updating. Would recommend this house for folks looking to stay on Sodus Bay.

Winter Ice Fishing Getaway

Great house. Plenty of space for a large group. Basement is amazing, lots of room and stuff to do. Beds very comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Beautiful views of the bay and plenty of shade in yard on hot days. Lots of parking available. Beautifully decorated with unique and interesting items throughout house. Big fridge. Plenty of dining space to accommodate large group. Host is extremely accessible and attentive. Great location to restaurants, farm stands, grocery store, and parks to hike in. Close to marinas to rent boats.. we felt at home as soon as we walked in. Bright and gorgeous living room. Great deck to sit outside and enjoy morning coffee or evening air. Very comfortable deck furniture. Would highly recommend house and host to everyone. Very peaceful and serene house. Never got tired of finding new and cool items throughout house. Paddle boards and kayaks were awesome. Plenty of towels. Absolutely, every detail is thought of by host. Left us a basket with s’more products, wine and a candle. Very thoughtful. One of our best VRBO experiences to date!

Wonderful week of relaxation and fun.

Wonderful week of relaxation and fun with our kids and grandkids. Plenty of room in the basement area for the younger adults and their children to stay. We rented a small boat for a few days and it was a big hit. A great time was had by all. Sally , out host was in contact with me the week prior to our vacation just to make sure we didn’t have any questions……I felt that was a very nice gesture.
