Lovely River Walk

Lots of potential but needs some work.

The property was as described in the posting. Comfortable and located a short drive from beaches, natural areas and state parks. Although there was a bit of a glitch in our initial communications with our host, after we arrived she was easy to contact and responded to any communication quickly. The house was decorated nicely, was quite roomy, appeared neat, but was not clean. The refrigerator had an icemaker but the bin was frozen solid and when we emptied it we found it was dirty and rusted inside. Kitchen drawers and cabinets had dirt and residue from something that had been spilled in them and needed to be wiped out. Corners, behind dressers, laundry area between appliances and closet door frames were filled with dirt, pet hair,etc. We found both garbage and recycling cans full when we arrived. We contacted the host about this and she responded quickly and brought us an empty can to use. She asked if everything was okay and we told her the shower door frame in the on suite bathroom was dirty and filled with mold. She went and got cleaning supplies and immediately took care of cleaning it. Most of the cleaning issues weren’t a major concern, just not desirable. However, we discovered the oven had been sprayed with oven cleaner and not wiped out thoroughly which is a health hazard,The neighborhood is a lovely 55 plus community and we found the residents to be very friendly and welcoming. This property has a lot of potential with attention given to the items noted above.
