Avista was a nice resort. The employees couldn't be nicer. The owners of the unit were very unorganized. I received multiple emails and texts (from different people) about check in etc. very annoying. I sent everything in they wanted and yet I needed to go to the rental office to "GET VERIFIED" . RUINED MY 1st day. We got there later then expected and our gps was bringing us to the wrong location. When I called, for directions, the girl on the other end just kept telling me to open up my email and go to google maps. I told her that we were only a couple blocks away, It;s late and we were travleling all day, could you please just help us get there... again, just open email and go to google maps. They put a credit card hold on my card at least twice during our stay ( which was dropped) , but I had to get intouch with them and ask why. I want to relax on vaca and not want to bother with them during. Annoying. I sent an emil before arriving to ask if there was a washer and dryer in the unit. The response was, laundry on the 4th floor. So I packed accordingly. Needless to say, there was a washer and dryer inside the unit. I'll give it a 3 for cleanliness. Sheets didn't fit the bed..Coffee pot was filthy. There are plenty of nicer places to stay, I would suggest to keep looking.

Last Minute Quick Getaway

The property was nice and clean. The ocean view was spectacular from the balcony area. We arrived on Wednesday and departed on Friday, so we didn't get to take advantage of everything the resort had to offer. First time staying here, and will most likely not be the last. We had a great time.
