Fantastic Paradise

We three adults loved the quiet solitude. Remarkably there was no loud traffic noise or headbanging music unlike Myrtle Beach. The condo was comfortable and cozy.

Complete and compact

Two bedrooms. Master has a bathroom attached tub/shower combo. Bathroom in the hallway is small. 24” shower stall and both bathrooms have low seating toilets. The complex is fifty years old. This unit has been enjoyed. Ceramic tile throughout. No ice maker in the freezer, no dishwasher. And living area furniture is extremely worn. Great view from the balcony. Ample parking across the street. Plenty of linen and toiletries. Two elevators never a problem getting around. A fleet of luggage carts, so loading and unloading were easy. Great area near Barefoot Landing, the Ocean Drive.

It would have been nice if the rooms had been a little cleaner clean towels were there but dont think the room had been vaccumed and bathroom was not cleaned

Absolutely filthy

The property was filthy dirty. The owner apparently doesn’t care just wants the money. The property manager sent another cleaner in and they said this is one of the worst places they have seen. I would run as far as you can get from this property. I have lots of pictures if you want to see them. Melted candy bars were found in the loveseat that has been there for years. We had them put sheets over the furniture just so we had a place to sit. The stove still had food from the last person and the list goes on.

Great location and parking. Close to beach access. Deep warm pool. Kitchen furnished well. Great corner porch.Unit could use a refresh. Biggest problem was weed smoke coming in from other units.

I tried to enjoy my stay

I rented this VRBO for a girl's weekend with me and my best friend. We wanted beach front; this place a beautiful view of the ocean! Upon arrival there were many bugs, both dead and alive, in the unit. I texted the phone number given (which turned out to be the property manager) that very first night and let them know. They apologized and asked if we were interested in someone coming by the next day to take care of the issue. I said yes, and then tried to sleep through the thoughts of bugs crawling on me while I slept. I have no idea if anyone actually came by the following day. No correspondence was left indicating someone had entered the unit. I once again texted the number and asked if someone had come by. I received no response. We do not believe anyone came by based on the new live bugs we encountered later that night. The text I received on arrival stated that checkout time was 10:59. On the day of checkout we were packed and had cleaned the counters, dishes, etc. I left to get the car and my friend left to get a dolly for our things. We both come back and our code for the door was no longer working. It was only 10:30. At this point I went to the front desk. I was told that they did not deal with personally owned units. I called the number I had been texting earlier in the weekend. I received no apology or explanation, just a new code to allow us back into the unit for our items. We wanted a worry-free girl's weekend and got bugs, ghosted, and locked-out.

Nice condo/needs deep cleaning

Nice, updated, roomy condo with a good ocean view, decent sized pool, hot tub and super easy beach access. Couple of things though: needs to be deep cleaned; we saw more than a few small roaches. (German roaches, maybe?) Told the rental company and they did quickly offer to have it sprayed, but I don't know how I feel about having it sprayed for bugs while we're staying there? Also, we noticed the unit did not have a fire extinguisher that we could find ( wife's dad is a firefighter). Could be an issue for families that cook a lot like ours. Still enjoyed the place despite the bugs, though.
