I really really liked the Mill. The pool area is beautiful, the rooms are clean and beautiful. Yes, there is construction. They started at a reasonable hour, though and the best place to be during the day is the beach, not the pool anyways-- take the hotel shuttle over to the beach. This hotel is close to the RIU and other hotels and places to eat dinner. You can walk around happily to shop or eat. I rented a bicycle one day (5-minute walk to rent bikes) and rode what seemed pretty far. Also, the breakfast was good. The hotel staff were nice and helpful. I want to go back soon. Also, I traveled by myself as a single woman and felt super comfortable and safe here.

Service was great! Hotel under construction. No water or any drink in the room. Nothing to do at nights.

Good value. Some facilities are closed due to renovation.

I lke this property coz they have a Filipino employee that so nice. Specialy Elvie on the breakfast corner.

The room was nice and clean and the pool area was pleasant. The construction was annoying and not attractive.

Pleasant friendly staff and was wonderful relaxing and quiet food drinks speak different languages

To whom it may concern: I stayed at The Mill Resort in Aruba from February 20th-25th. I booked this trip over a month in advance (1/15/19) and paid a good amount of money on it. My significant other and I arrived there around 4:10pm on the 20th. We went to go check in, and we were told that “the reservation wasn’t held” and that they will have security bring us to a hotel down the street (Tropicana). Not only this, but they said our “hotel room would be ready first thing in the morning and to have Tropicana call The Mill when we are ready to check in and be picked up”. We were upset for the inconvenience but we did not want to make a fuss because we know mistakes happen. We arrived at the Tropicana ‪around 4:50pm‬ and went to the front desk. The front desk had no record of us or any information we were coming there. We waited ‪until 7:00pm‬ until we actually ended up getting into an old, worn down, dirty, hotel room (which is the total opposite of what I paid for at The Mill). We stayed there overnight and made the best of it, got a late breakfast in the morning and had Tropicana call The Mill ‪around 11:30am‬ to pick us up. After about a half hour, we got picked up by The Mill’s security and was back at The Mill around 12:30ish. We went to the front desk to check into our room that was supposed to be ready first thing in the morning, to find out they haven’t even started cleaning our room! They promised 30 minutes, then 30 minutes again, then 30 minutes again, until we act

Family friendly & great staff. We will stay there again.

The newly renovated rooms were very nice but there was no hot water for my entire trio, the room were freezing cold even when trying to turn the heat up or even turning it completely off. The staff were ok, not so friendly. It is located on a great location. Arrival drinks werent offered as mentioned on booking. Staff just gave key to the room without any other information.

I understand the hotel is under renovation. Which is fine I think they should have done one section at a time. The staff was lacking. We stayed in a renovated room which was updated clean and nice but not welcoming. The bed was comfortable but with only two cheap pillows barely any blankets. There was one tiny garbage can only in the toilet area. Very cheap on the towels. Two shower towels one hand towel and not even one wash cloth Asked for two extra pillows they said they would bring them to room. Never did. They barely had enough pool towels everyday. There was barely any artwork on the walls of the renovated room. Hopefully once renovations are complete they get on the right track because it is a nice spot and has potential. As of now wouldn’t recommend

Room was ok to stay for a night not to sped a vacation. There was no water in the room. I asked the front office for water and they said to drink from the faucet. Also they have no extra covers was left with a bed sheet would.be nice to have blankets.

Nice beach.nice weather. Nice happy island I like Aruba , don’t like the mill resort. They screwed everything, even I should have a car for free they made me to pay.

The hotel is currently under going renovations and construction. We were informed that Marriott purchased the property and is overseeing the renovation. The pool and pool bar are completely finished and beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the pool when we weren't at the beach. During our stay only 30 of the 190 total rooms were being rented. Very few guests which makes it difficult for staff at the bar and restaurant to make extra tips. The entire staff worked very hard to make our stay very comfortable and they can't wait for the renovation to be finished. The construction was a bit loud during the day but it didn't stop us from enjoying our time at the pool. The restaurant looks like it's going to be very nice! Jeanedry, Nelson and Virginia had the best personalities at the pool bar. They work so well together. The shuttle drivers to the beach were also super nice and informative. Overall we're very pleased based on the affordable price and location.

Renovation in process.Big discomfort .and it’s for a long time

Nice hotel for many what you pay for .Close to the beec

The hotel is under construction.... There was noise from 8am to 6pm daily. The staff and management did nothing but try to give a credit for food. I ended up staying at the Barcelo and lost 100% of my money. Shame on this hotel and Orbitz for doing nothing & wasting a day of my vacation. I'll never use either again.

My stay at The Mill was absolutely horrible and I'm not a big complainer. It was by far my worse hotel stay ever. They are under major construction but tell you construction is finished when booking. They offered free breakfast at booking but then denied the offer when we arrived. The drilling and construction noise beginning at 8am was ridiculous. Wash cloths are a rare item and have to be asked for daily. The newly renovated rooms include a 20 inch TV that totally missed the renovation. The Mill beach is a joke so we laid around in another resort's beach area. It rained one morning and the hotel lobby had buckets all over to catch the leaks in the lobby. I rate this hotel at the lowest rank possible and even that more than it deserves. My advise is to spend the extra money and stay anywhere but here.

Maybe I will come back just because of the staff specially the bellman

Dear Emily, We appreciate your feedback very much; it is only through feedback such as yours that we are able to improve upon the service and the facilities that we provide to our valued guests. The Mill Resort would like to extend our sincerest apologies for the inconveniences that you have experienced during your stay. We did experience some technical issues with our system. We did our utmost best to address this issue, by reserving a new room and transport for you and your partner to another hotel. We can understand that it can be an inconvenience for you. We normally do accommodate the room categories requested by our guest, but unfortunately we were unable to provide you a room with a kitchen during the time of your stay due to our system failure. But we offered a free upgrade to the new renovated room. In these circumstances we normally cover your Taxi as well. Sorry to hear that this was not the case. We take all our guests reviews very seriously and we would like to do our utmost best to keep all our valued guests very happy. We are providing quality service training to all of our associates to improve in all areas of the resort. We will address this with you directly, by e-mail. Thank you.

Dear Guest, Thank you for the feedback about the hot water. Our hot water system is newly installed powered by solar technology, so we will definitely look into it for any possible deficiencies. Our apologies that you did not receive your welcome cocktail upon arrival, and we hope to make it up to you in the future return to the island. Have a nice day!

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking your time to review us. We do apologize for any of the inconvenience that you may have experienced while staying here with us. We started last year with our renovation and yes we are currently doing one section at the time. And section 3 of the guestrooms is currently under contsruction, while section 1, 2 and 4 are currently operating. When we are completely done, all the guest rooms will be up to standards of the Courtyard by Marriott 100%, including the pillows and towels and we will also provide training for our staff. We did contact the housekeeping on this matter to make sure that this does not occur again in the future. We hope you enjoyed your vacation and we sure do welcome you back as soon as we transition into the new Courtyard by Marriott Resort. Warm regards,

The Mill Resort & Suites Aruba
