Little Things
Marcela has a beautiful property and we enjoy staying there. There have been great improvements to the common pool area such as a new outside kitchen, new cement walkways and better signage.
Marcela is friendly and accommodating however
In one's life little things become annoyances such as:
Bathmat which is as small as a hand towel
Having to purchase a second roll of toilet tissue
No plug for the sink so you must wash dishes under running water. Wasting both water and dish soap.
Entrance to THE ANNEX is via a sliding glass door which appears to be easily opened using a screw driver
.
No salt and pepper shakers in the kitchen
Beach resort should consider providing beach towels
Finally, none of these points would prevent us from booking again, however we would not book one of the 2 ANNEX units.

Amazing stay
We stayed here for 9 nights! It’s walking distance to the beach (10 minutes), grocery store (5 minutes) and palm beach bars/ restaurants(30 minutes). We are a young couple and had no issues walking everywhere but it’s also super easy to rent a car. It’s quiet at night and the AC cooled us off after a long day at the beach.
You have everything you need to make your own meals (stove top, pots/pans, coffee maker, blender, and a grill outside!).
Marcela was an excellent host and answered any questions that we had really quickly! Don’t hesitate to book your Aruba stay here :)

Loved our stay at Annexo 2. Marcella is really friendly, and quick to answer if you have any questions.
The space had all necessary appliances. The sofa bed, and main bed were comfortable, and washroom is quite large. Water is perfect temperature as well. Tap water is safe to drink so ensure you bring a reusable bottle, any restaurant on island will refill. Both TV’s have popular channels available and one is a smart TV. Suite has it’s own parking spot.
15-20min walk or 5 min drive to Palm Beach. Hadicuri kitesuring beach also close by. Although we rented a car, there is a bus stop at Mariott Hotel ~10 min walk, and takes you to all major points along the cost from North (Arashi Beach) to South (Baby Beach). Towels are only for room use, so we brought quick dry microfibre towels for the beach and they worked great. Thanks again!
