We loved everything about the Barcelo property. It was clean, beautiful and well staffed with great people.

The staff members were very nice, House keeping staff did wonder job and were very pleasant. Everything was kept immaculate inside and out. The beach was wonderful. The grounds and restaurants were very nice. We enjoyed it very much.

The resort is just the right size. Easy and quick to get from room to pool & beach.

unaccommodating guest service staff. They did not tell me I couldn’t use a debit card until my account was overdrawn and left me with no money for the entire week of stay. The “auth fee” was a duplicate charge to the original room stay and overdrew me. This wasn’t rectified until my final day of stay. Thankfully I had the all inclusive so I could still eat/drink.

The hotel was very clean, one thing we didn’t like was that there weren’t enough chair by the pool and not too much to do at night

Loved everything! The view was breathtaking!! Didn’t like the photographer, took our pic, charged 25.00 and the pics were too light, not professional and he would not refund my money.

Pool area was excellent and kept clean. Rooms were very nice and clean. Great variety in the five restaurants on site. Food was excellent. Staff was helpful. Disappointed in the entertainment at the stage. Could of been more entertaining and interactive especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

This is our second time at this resort. The location, beach, pool area, and bar were great as previously. The front desk is excellent. However, compared last year , buffet, and especially property restaurants significantly down, especially restaurants. By day 3, one cannot look at the same not well prepared plain choices. We tried Sea food and Mexican this time, after these two cancelled the rest of restaurant reservations and just ate at the buffet, at least more choices. Also, at arrival, we checked in at 4pm. Checking time at 4pm. The room was not very clean. We had not a single towel. It was promised to be brought from the laundry. But after an hour, my husband went to front desk asking for towels, Front desk called housekeeping, but it did not happen again. After 2 hours, I went to the beach and brought a beach towel, so we can take a shower after the day of traveling. Finally after i called the the front desk again, we got 2 sets of towels around 7pm. We are definitely planning to come back to Aruba, but I am not sure if we would stay again at Barcelo.

That you had to get up real early to get a hut on the beach. There should be a better system .

They have to get a better system for getting a palapa... having to get up between 5 and 6 on vacation is ridiculous...

The customer service was horrendous. From the moment we arrived the service was awful at check in. No one directed us which way to our room, and once we found it the maids were sitting in the room socializing. We upgraded bc the view of a parking lot was AWFUL and the room had a terrible smell. The pool bar service was very disappointing, we actually felt like we were inconveniencing them by ordering a drink. The only good service we received was at the Mexican restaurant, our waitor was wonderful and so nice. And also the seafood restaurant we had two good experiences eating thanks to their service. Aside from those two places we would never have known Aruba was “One Happy Island” unless we left the resort which we did a few times and shouldn’t have had to being that it is an all inclusive.
