We are extremely disappointed with our experience.After traveling for seven hours by plane with three children — including our son who has a disability — we arrived exhausted and expecting to check in and rest. Instead, we were told there were no special instructions and that our room was not ready. We were left with no option but to walk all of our luggage to a nearby restaurant to wait. After such a long day of travel, this was incredibly frustrating and physically difficult.Even after waiting, the room was still not ready. This is simply not acceptable — especially considering we were staying to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. What was meant to be a special trip began in a very stressful and disappointing way.Communication only added to the frustration. The VRBO host did not respond in a timely manner, and it appeared there was little to no communication between the host and the Blue Residence office. We were stuck in the middle trying to get answers while exhausted with our children.When we were finally allowed into the room, the problems continued. Although we were told it had been cleaned, there was hair on the floors in all rooms, and the bed sheets appeared dirty. The room also had a noticeable moldy smell, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this did not meet even minimum standards.To make matters worse, the WiFi was unreliable and I was unable to work from my laptop.
