S'chwabels, a gîte in the spirit of Alsatian traditions

Welcome to an Alsatian farmhouse built at the beginning of the 19th century and representative of the traditional agricultural areas of the country of Hanau. The very spacious gite is located in an outbuilding, formerly the stable of the old farm.

Its location on a closed shared courtyard and in a busy street makes it a haven of tranquility. We have kept as much as possible the distribution of buildings, uses and functions (bread oven) as well as the original materials: half-timbered, mud, Vosges sandstone, flat beaver-tail tiles. The half-timbering was also scrupulously respected.

S’chwabels is an integral part of the old village nucleus where we find the services of everyday life.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fenced private yard, and a coffee maker. Limited housekeeping is available.

Lovely property in a great position

Me and my partner chose to stay here with our dog as we had not visited Alsace before. The property is in a great position in a lovely quiet village with easy road and rail access to Strasbourg. Bruno the owner was very welcoming and the property is clean and full of lots of interesting historical pieces of art and furniture. There is plenty of space with three bedrooms and the kitchen is well fitted out with all modern appliances. I would highly recommend this property.

Die Ferienwohnung ist wie ein gemütliches, bewohnbares Museum, mit sehr vielen Möbeln und Gegenständen aus dem bäuerlichen Alltag von damals, Tüchern, Tellern, Bildern. Die Küche hat praktisch alles, was man so braucht. Es liegen unzählige schöne Bücher über das Elsass bereit und auch Tourismus-Prospekte. Wir waren zu 5, wir hatten genug Platz, es war alles sehr gut, sauber, nichts fehlte. Die Gastgeber Simone und Bruno haben uns bestens betreut.

Stilvolle, große Wohnung im Elsass

Sehr schön eingerichtete Wohnung mit viel Platz für die ganze Familie.Der Bahnhof ist nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt, von dort kann man mit dem Zug nach Straßburg fahren.Außerdem kann man in in der Gegend wandern und auch ein neues Schwimmbad haben wir gefunden. und ein ein nettes Schwimmbad haben

Wundervoll

Es ist ein ganz liebevoll eingerichtetes typisch elsässisches Fachwerkhaus mit goßem Innenhof. Man entdeckt täglich etwas Neuse. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie geben gerne Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung, für die Schwindratzheim ein guter Ausgangspunkt ist. Wir und unsere Kinder würden gern wieder kommen. Das Hühner füttern hat ihnen sehr gefallen. Ein Vorteil ist das man sich hin und wieder mal im Innenhof trifft und nette Gespräche führen kann. Vielen lieben Dank an die Gastgeber MERCI BIEN

Ein Kleinod mit Charme

Das Fachwerkhaus ist zauberhaft schön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Gerade mit Kindern ist es toll, einen Innenhof zu haben und eine große Wiese mit Ziegen, Schafen und Hühnern. Das Dorf hat uns auch sehr gefallen. Es gibt gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die Bahnanbindung ist perfekt und der Ortskern ist sehr hübsch mit seinen alten Höfen.

Nous avons passé 5 jours très agréables en famille : la maison a beaucoup de charme et est très confortable; la cour est bien aménagée et par beau temps, il est fort sympathique d‘y déjeuner . Notre chatte a bien apprécié la balustrade de la galerie de laquelle elle pouvait gagner le toit et le grenier! La maison est bien située pour explorer toute l‘Alsace et faire des incursions en Allemagne.
