Stayed here on a weekend getaway.... Breakfast cheap - coffee cheap - buffey was not refilled and dirty plates were not cleaned away. Our room was on the 4 floor under the roof on the Sun side of the hotel - normally not that bad since ac was supposed to be there... Upon arrival ac dud not work - answer from reception - please speak to my boss tomorrow am, so we slept 3 hrs that night and wanted to escape the next morning.. Answer from the boss (unfriendly lady) was that bit would be fixed during the day when we were out... So far so good... when we got back it still dud did not work and the boss has disappeared... same answer from the guy at the reception - he could not do anything... When checking out we were simply told that it worked yesterday... A lie upon lie ! A stay at a hostel would have been better!
We stayed here just 1 night, but still the minuses below are not out of the ordinary. At a 4* hotel there was nothing in the probably unplugged minibar. The ultra small shower cabin, considering I'm 176cm tall and 76kg. The breakfast was a very bad joke. Open from 6:30AM to 10AM, it should not matter for a 4* hotel when (within the given interval) one decides to have it. The buffet was rather poor with absolutely no fresh vegetables. No more scrambled eggs. Hardly any protein. No cutlery. Poor quality coffee. Poor quality "fresh juice". Egg boiler stopped by someone "prematurely" was the cherry on the cake, made me write all of this. Probably the main reason for this was the lack of personnel.
The staff here very good and spoke fluent English. Our twin room was tidy and big enough for our stay. Soap was supplied in the bathroom. We were excited about air conditioning but it lacked guts and we still had a hot restless night. Only in the morning did we think about opening the balcony door. We were given a 10% off voucher for a restaurant at another hotel (same chain) but ended up eating at the casino. Breakfast was good with the usual on offer.
Rooms are simple but clean and efficient. At least air conditioned rooms. Reception helpful and family style, great parking available. Breakfast available but minimal and not the too much choice. The connection with Hotel du Parc gives an opportunity to use the swimming pool and the Spa. The hotel is in the middle of town and easy walking distance to all activities. It is located in a beautiful, restful town. Not geared to long stay.
We stayed here for one night, the surrounding town is very quiet indeed! Large free car park, lovely rooms and clean. Didn't experience much service as we didn't stay at the hotel. Local casino was good and great food. I would stay here again!
Here for a week. It's clean, central. Pleasant. But 4*. Nope! Limited facilities A little short on staff Odd things missing or broken. TV in the room is the smallest I've seen in 10 years. That said. Staff are friendly. It's clean. Does the job.
Nice rooms, but the hotel is relatively expensive for an out of season stay. Friendly reception staff. Clean room, nice bathroom. Suppose that the rooms having a balcony are nicer, but eventually more expensive.
Lovely hotel in lovely setting in lovely town. Friendly staff, large and comfortable rooms. Town is classic rural French spa town, so quiet and relaxed at all times, perhaps too quiet out of season. Great place to disappear to to write that novel you have been planning for the last 40 years!
Me and my collegues spent a night in this hotel during a business trip. My room was big and tidy. The staff was affable and kindly. The breakfast was appreciated. The location is relaxing since it's located in a small somehow charming town, and sleep well is a must-have when doing business trip. The overall evaluation is certainly positive.
I stay in the Mercure in Niederbronn-les-bains whenever I visit one of our business units. The rooms are usually comfortable enough, and the breakfast is good, but I always dine elsewhere, usually at the casino in the village, although there are plenty of other options locally. The service and welcome is good. English is spoken by the receptionists if you're not a Francophone. The inside of the building is nice enough, but the outside of the building looks rather "tired". There's also ample parking.
