The building is in a great location, and the apartment itself was relatively clean. However, many of the dishes had food/hair on them (gross), and the apartment has clearly seen some hard usage, as evidenced by tables with broken legs, and a handrail ripped out of the wall on the way to the loft. Giving a benefit of the doubt that it will be wotking for the next guests, the washer/dryer combo didnt work (it was fixed the last day of the stay), and the wifi went out the last 2 days of the stay (never fixed before I left). The contact host from Welkeys however, was absolutely fantastic and she tried to help out in every way possible. Overall, I would give the experience 3 out of 5 stars.

Misrepresentation

The overall stay was quite disappointing. Although check in was easy, it took several attempted contacts to figure out what time we would be able to check in. When we arrived, we discovered several issues that had not been communicated to me at all. First, the toilet seat and lid were completely broken off and moved around while using the facilities. Next, the air conditioning unit was not powerful enough to keep the unit at a comfortable temperature for sleeping. Finally, the upper level that held the bed was extremely small, you could not fully stand up, and the bed was just a mattress on the ground. The linens and towels had stains on them. There was no safe for valuables and no detergent for the dishwasher or washing machine. I tried to communicate these issues several times after arriving and only heard back after multiple attempts that the toilet could not be fixed because it was expensive and would take a long time. Would not recommend this unit or company to anyone.
