EF Tour booked. Hotel was fine but check in staff was rude and kept us waiting for 40 minutes wasting time. Room basic but comfortable bed, hot water. Morning staff friendly. Issue was it is too far from Nice - took 30-45 minutes for our 2 mornings and cut into time we had. No Uber at night and only 1 restaurant nearby. Coffee shop and supermarket at the bottom of the hill which is convenient.

This little Hotel was absolutely marvellous....on the mountain, overlooking the river valley towards Nice and the ocean. Very nice place to wake up and see the sun come up over the valley below. Great Value for money. The location was a little bit far from Nice City Center, so your own car hire is a must.

We booked last minute and I didn't pay much attention to the location. It is on top of a mountain, it was not easy to reach at night but views from the road and from the hotel balcony later were amazing. The recepcionist was correct, we were given a room on 1st floor, it had a small kitchenette with 2 stoves, microwaves and a fridge. The room was big enough and clean, bed was comfy and bathroom with bathtub and basic amenities was clean as well. The balcony was small but it had a small table and 2 chairs, good for us smokers.

True we arrived late, after 11, but the single member of staff was sitting on the wall outside smoking. Our room was ready, but a double, not a twin as requested, and the staff member could not care less about the situation. When we asked for a drink all we got was a shrug, he really made us feel like we were getting in his way of smoking more cigarettes. The room was basic at best, no amenities to speak of, no drinks at all. There was a balcony, but the tree growing directly next to it made it pointless. There are a lot of hotels in the area. I recommend trying them!

Very tired hotel literally in the middle of nowhere ten minutes form Vence. We of course knew there would be some drawbacks as the price was very cheap. We didnt hire a car which looking back was the fundamental flaw to the 4 day break.Once there ,the receptionist informed us that there was 'nothing around' in reference to bars, restaurants and getting a bus Nice was 'impossible' as they had been on strike for weeks. Also, the weather was terrible so thought we would use the local supermarket and stay in to watch TV-there wasnt one english channel on the TV which is a bit odd as the hotel was plugged on a UK website.I would say that if you stay here get a car or just plain forget it

This was hotel stop # 3 on our EF Tour. Unfortunately, we only had time to stay one night and we arrived late in the evening. The hotel itself is a bit dated but still has some modern amenities, however, the views you get from being here are fabulous. It is located on top of a mountain, with no other establishment except for the hotel. It is quiet, and invigorating. The air seemed crisp, the water tasted great for tap water. The room consisted of a small kitchenette area with a small fridge, microwave and 2 burner stovetop. The room was a decent size, bathroom was outdated however with peeling paint on wall. Since we had an early departure, breakfast was quick but good. We had free wi-fi and TV.

The good points: close to the airport, easy to reach (only by car!), no noise, convenient if you are using the airport nearby, clean just enough, free parking area, people is welcoming. The bad points: quality of the room, lift is off duty most of the time, nothing around if you want to go out for a drink, not exactly clean actually it's very much used, Price is adequate to the hotel, do not expect more than what you paid for.

dirty room with broken tiles and fixtures and mold in the bathroom, really disgusting. Unfortunately the reality is miles away from the pictures show by the propriety, this was my first but last time there, really disappointing. dirty room with broken tiles and fixtures and mold in the bathroom, really disgusting.

Didn't pay very much to stay here. The view alone was worth every penny. Our room could have benefitted from a mini spruce up just to keep it up to scratch. Staff were lovely. Couldn't do enough for us. Walls are paper thin which can get a bit noisy if you get an amorous couple next door! Good location. 15 minutes to drive to Nice

The receptionist Florian was really unhelpful, inept and rude. He really should not be doing this job, he will chase away the customers with his horrible work ethics (or complete lack of it). To explain: My parents had another room (001) which for some reason during our stay had faulty air conditioning. Since I stayed in room 214, I had a comparison and thus room 001 was literally like a sauna in comparison!! SO, naturally we informed the housekeeper about it. Weirdly enough, she said she knew about it (we would have expected such a nice looking hotel to have better upkeep for consistency) She also said she had already told the receptionist but no actions were taken. We were redirected to the receptionist (a young guy named Florian). Now this "receptionist" was just rude and gave us the cold shoulder when we were explaining the matter to him. He condescendingly spoke down to my parents saying that the air-conditioning is ACTUALLY working right in that sauna. To add insult to injury, he literally shooed my parents away saying "I can't do anything" when we waited for the air - con to possibly work after some time (benefit of doubt). Don't mention any thought of changing the room or perhaps informing the management to take us seriously and repair their air conditioning, he was just so apathetic with no intention to make our stay as guests welcomed. On a side note on other faculties: Note that my room had a basic kitchen BUT NO cooking utensils. For non - experienced drivers, please also be aware that the hotel's location is high up on the mountains and may be challenging to get to. The wifi tend to be unstable in the rooms, especially at night. Once again to stress however, the hotel would have gotten a better review if it were not for their unprofessional receptionist and lack of hotel upkeep.
