The last three nights of our holiday in France had us in this hotel. We found it delightful. The staff is attentive, the hotel clean and it's an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the Mediterranean Sea. From here you are also able to tour Saint-Tropez, Eze and Monaco, although the ride to ST can be long in traffic. I think I would consider the train the next time. We drove to Nice from Bergerac, with stops along the way. Finding the hotel with a rental car was a bit difficult, although the construction did not affect our stay in any way. We would certainly stay in this hotel again, largely due to proximity to attractions and the airport.
I booked this hotel months early and I emailed the front desk staff quite a bit! They helped arranged a car in advance and set up tours. Every member of the staff, including the front desk, breakfast staff and evening bar tender were all absolutely wonderful. I even spilled red wine all over my pants and shirt and they sent if out to be cleaned! They helped with every request with a smile. I was concerned about the construction out front, except is turned out to have ZERO impact. I really enjoyed a drink at the end of our day outside on the patio... Our room was great, the breakfast was the best and the staff first rate. Thank You to Angel , Camille, Adriana and Agatha.
Having had concerns on the tunnel/street constructions right outside the hotel, we were positively surprised to find this hotel to be quite and seemingly unimpacted. A short 15 minutes car drive (yes, Uber is working in Nice as well :-)) from the airport, the lobby welcomes its guests with a crisp white interior accented with exceptional pieces of art and decor. The theme of ultimate white continues into the guest rooms providing an Italian Beach feeling in France. Our room was small - what is to be expected from Europe/France - yet with all amenities of a 5 Star Hotel. Notable was the shower cleverly dividing the bed and bathroom. It is an all-glass shower that when drawn the curtains covering it, allows a spacious feeling. Unfortunately, we spent only one night in this wonderful hotel as we utilized it for our starting point to our 16 day Provence Vacation. We would most certainly return to the Boscolo Exedra and its exceptional staff to further explore old-town Nice and its culinary offerings that are in such close proximity, just a few walking minutes from the hotel.
Very nice hotel, with an all-white decoration. It made us feel very welcomed. Most of the staff was attentive, though it's not a distinctive feature of the place. It's quite near the main street, so you can walk to get to excellent restaurants and some shops. It was hard to get by car, because there was a construction near-by going on, so it's better to ask.
We wish we could have taken their mattress home with us! Best night's sleep ever. We both appreciate and prefer a firm mattress, and theirs surpassed our expectations There's nothing like a good night's sleep after a day of travel or sightseeing. Thank you Boscolo!
Stayed at the Boscolo end of August, lovely hotel, attentive staff, great classic room. No bother at all with the construction work, I think they move everyone to the middle or rear of the hotel. Ate breakfast outside on the first morning so this work can't be that bad!!!
We stayed here to use our Marriott points. Convenient, plenty of shopping and dining nearby. Easy walk to the promenade and old town. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was OK but since we used points we don't get the best they have. We didn't have a view but We had a nice courtyard outside our room on the 2nd floor that was a wonderful place to sit and relax in the evening. Lots of construction going on all over the city to expand the trolley line and it was in front of the hotel. However none of our cab drivers had trouble getting to it and the noise was never an issue. Breakfast was fine too. They provide a buffet and hot menu. I would not have eaten there if it wasn't included in our package however - not that good for the price. They offered a glass of champagne or refreshment when we arrived which is a nice I would stay there again.
Cruise company booked us in this hotel before our cruise departed from Monaco. Very fashionable hotel part of a larger chain. Our room was a Classic room which was small but very chic but below the massive air conditioning units on the roof. Breakfast was excellent but no more than you should expect for 35 euros. Had a drink of wine in the bar also expensive. Biggest problem of this hotel at the moment is that the city is building a new train station right outside the hotel. No activity on Saturday but who knows what noise there would have been during the week. Noticed that the price of this hotel in the cruise companies brochure was $575 per night. Wow.
Hotel is excellent and has very good spa/ pool/ sauna/ hamam facilities. Reception staff and doormen are wonderful but couple of things just need improvements :- 1. Spa staff need to smile a bit more and not be rude. 2. Shower needs a cover so the water doesn't spill all over the floor. Apart from the above two I can't really find any other faults. Construction work actually isn't too bad unless you're planning on sleeping through the day. There is no night construction work so we had a good night sleep. Stayed 4 nights on our honeymoon and we thank the reception for the excellent champagne and macaroons :)
We were only here one night, but so enjoyed our stay. Very good location. Easy walking. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Soft lights, peaceful in the hallways. Our room was not quite ready on arrival, so we relaxed with a nice glass of Champagne. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return on our next stay in Nice.
