This apartment is on the highest floor offering an unobstructed, stunning, “helicopter” view of the entire area. The apartment’s surface area is 30m², the balcony adds another 8m². In the living room, there are a 55-in (140-cm) flat screen UHD 4K TV; a router for free (not shared with others) Internet access by WiFi or LAN cable; you can also surf the Internet, read you email, check-out your photos and videos on this high-definition TV (8 megapixels), watch the news in your language, etc.. The apartment has a quiet air-conditioning / heater unit; a bladeless Dyson fan. This apartment has a bookcase with English & French books about the area and other subjects. There are, also, plenty of leaflets, bus schedules, city maps, things-to-do brochures, etc about the Nice area, Monaco and Italy. A large wall-mounted raised-relief map of the French Riviera coastline and it's mountainous hinterland). The apartment is quiet for a restful night; on the bedroom side, there are no visible buildings or streets but a beautiful lush greenery. 2 people can sleep in the bedroom and 2 more can sleep in the living room. All the rooms have been refurbished. There are 2 swimming pools overlooking the marina and the azure bay; a small shallow pool for kids and a 14-meter-long (46-foot-long) pool. On the 4th floor, there is one secure spot for parking one car and there is also a large, heavy-duty, metal, locked cabinet. It can easily fit 2 bicycles, or anything you don't want in the apartment. Just across the street from the apartment’s building, there is the bus stop. For only 1.70€, the city bus will take you directly (no transfer) on a very scenic road to prestigious destinations such as: Villefranche-sur-Mer, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Monaco, Menton.

An excellent apartment in a very desirable area. The host was helpful and understanding. Every convenience is close by, whether you like to walk or take the bus. I highly recommend the bus ride to St. Jean Cap Ferrat - the scenery alone is worth the 1.70Euro. Or walk the other way to the very interesting Port area. Or just relax and enjoy the view from your very comfortable sofa on the balcony. The sunsets are spectacular.

Fantastic place to stay

Accurate description of the apartment. Location superb, only thing is that, the sea is a walk downhill after a walk uphill! Swimming pool was wonderful. Lionel was very helpful. The only downside has to do the the buses in Nice, the route #15 which the apartment is on, is always jammed pack!

Fabulous week in Nice

We spent a lovely week here in mid September. Our two adult children also joined us for a few days. The apartment was spotless and Lionel was extremely helpful and had provided everything we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The washing machine, laundry tablets and drying rack were a bonus. Secure parking is great, we didn’t use our car at all during our stay but walked and used the trams and buses. The bus stop outside the apartment is so handy, no. 15 to Garabaldi stop in town or the other direction to Villefranche. You can also walk to town, via the Port, or pick up the tram from the port. The port tram stop takes you straight to the airport which was very convenient for our children when they flew to Nice. The apartment has a lovely balcony with stunning views of Nice, perfect for morning breakfast and sundowners! We also used the pool which was never crowded. It’s also a 10 minute walk down to a small but beautiful beach - stony though so beach shoes would be good! In summary, a lovely apartment with everything you need, in a very handy location, with a perfect host.

Blvd Carnot holiday

Very well equipped apartment with excellent views. The bus stop is immediately outside the apartment (however for less crowded travel during the peak season it's advisable to catch the bus to Nice Requier station and continue your travels by train from there). It's a good location - close enough to the city centre yet quiet enough for sleeping at night. Lionel was a very welcoming host.

Best sea view and location in Nice

OMG, my wife and I were so happy with the apt. The sea view and old port view from the dining counter and the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. Large windows to get sunset view as well… We could have spent our entire day there. Very quiet in September, no tenants beside our apt, slept well, good mattress, very safe location, beautiful long & clean pool we used every day. My wife was ready to buy an apt in this building. For 2 it was perfect, kitchen small but efficient. 10-15 mins walk to old port with plenty of restaurants and 20-25 mins walk along the old port and sea to go to old nice and promenade des anglais. You guess it, we will go back next year :-)

Everything you could want in a holiday! 5*

I challenge you to find such a modern, clean and well appointed property that offers stunning views from a private balcony that looks out over Nice in said budget. Not to mention having access to Air con, WIFI, a big screen Samsung TV, sublime swimming pool that opens from 8am to 10pm, private parking, a bus stop located only across the road that sees regular buses take you to Nice, Beaulieu Sur Mer, Villefranche, Eze Village and Monte Carlo etc and all for the princely sum of 1 euro per person! Throw in a super friendly and affable host in Lionel who makes everything run seamlessly. The little touches like providing complimentary Starbucks coffee capsules were most welcome! As a family we needed somewhere safe, with good transport links, access to a quiet pool and option to self-cater. This place has it all. Re the latter, there is a bijou kitchen area that notably sports a fab Bosch washing machine. A must for any family on hols! Great shower that always had hot water on demand and super comfy brand new mattresses on the main bed and in the handy pull down sofa bed that resides in the main living area. The complex is majorly secure and is guarded by a lobby door and secondary access door prior to the 3 lifts. The surrounding area has a lovely safe feel about it and there is a superb Carrefour Supermarket only 10 mins walk down the road. Many of the local restaurants and fast food outlets deliver via Uber Eats and Deliveroo etc. We have just returned only this am from 2 weeks at Lionel's place and I was keen to leave this review ASAP to help any of you debating a decision. As a family we are more than happy to recommend Lionel and his lovely apartment and very much hope to return!

The View!

We had an amazing time staying here! The sunsets are absolutely stunning and it’s a short walk to town. Lionel was a great host and helped orient us to everything at the property. Free Nespresso was a plus. FYI you do need to empty a bucket that catches the AC water daily if running it, although that wasn’t a huge inconvenience. We would definitely want to stay here again!

Property - the apartment was spotless. It is compact but plenty of room for two people. Everything is well laid out and every inch of space is used wisely. Lionel has plenty of info for what to do and it's neatly presented in categories. The balcony gets the sun from lunchtime through to late evening (mid Sept). Lift access is good and the pool on a lower roof terrace is excellent. Check-in was easy. Lionel met us downstairs upon our arrival, took us up to the apartment and explained everything clearly. Communication throughout the process, from initial booking to questions in the lead up up to the day of arrival could not have been better. Lionel responds promptly and is only too happy to help. Location - 4 stars here for only one reason, and it's probably being picky at that. Although the bus stop for the port, old town, Monaco and many other destinations is directly outside the building (both directions) if you wanted to walk into Nice itself you'll have a steepish journey back. It's only about ten minutes to the port and the same again to the old town but, if anyone has mobility issues it will necessiate using public transport. The last bus back from the town is 2030. Like I said, a minor issue but one to take note of. Overall, this was probably as good as it gets. Yes, you can stay in the town itself for the ultimate convenience but you won't have a pool, a superb view of the port or a quiet neighbourhood. If I haven't covered everything then Lionel definitely will.

Stunning Views across the Port and Nice

The accommodation was small, but we'll maintained and clean with all basic necessities. The most astounding feature was the stunning view from the balcony. We had the pool to ourselves quite often, but even when there were others at the pool it was never busy. The shop was about 15 mins walk away (uphill) . There was a bus stop right outside where you could get a bus to the Port or to Monaco. The only down side was they stopped running about 19.30. The restaurants and bars by the Port are lovely and within the Old Town you are spoilt for choice. It is about 10 to 15 mins walk to the Port and anot her 10 to 15 to the Old Town and the Promenade. We did this every night but be prepared on the walk back as it is uphill. We would thoroughly recommend both this accommodation and Nice for a holiday visit.

Great holiday in a super apartment.

The entire process of booking the apartment, pre arrival comms with Lionel and the stay itself were excellent. The apartment although quite compact provided us with an excellent base for our holiday in Nice. Lionel allowed us early entry and met us as planned on our arrival date. The apartment was very clean and provided us with everything that we needed for our 2 week stay. The view from the balcony over the harbour was stunning and we spent many hours relaxing there in the sun. I would recommend this apartment for mini breaks or longer stays. Excellent holiday!

The view of the port, Colline du Chateau and Baie des Anges from Lionel's super-organised apartment is breathtaking. At first I found the apartment a little spartan but soon began to appreciate that it has everything you could want with no unnnecessary clutter. The apartment is very compact but has plenty of room for two, particularly since we spent much of our time on the lovely, roomy terrace. Lionel is a very pleasant and responsive host. Walk up the hill to buy groceries from Carrefour or go to the Maeterlinck bus stop there and take the 100 bus to Monaco and Menton. Buy a 10 trip bus ticket to hop on and off the 81 and 30 to the apartment from Promenade des Arts. Take the 14 bus to the woodland park and Fort d'Alban at the top of Mont Boron. Go to Cimiez and visit the Roman amphitheatre, Matisse museum and nearby monastery gardens. Such a wonderful city with lovely people and lots to see and do. We will return.

Een voortreffelijk verblijf met prachtig uitzicht.

Het was voorzien van alle benodigdheden. Prima bed, wel iets te smal. Prima zitruimte en mooi terras. We hadden wel een beetje last van toiletgeur in de badkamer.
