This is a pleasant and comfortable budget hotel. We had a 7 night stint here and have no major complaints. The staff are very friendly, bilingual and very accommodating. The rooms is basic bejou and has everything you need - standard hotel room facilities plus a compact equipped kitchen with fridge freezer. Our only moan is there was no cleaning service unless we pay extra, which is fair enough, however over the 7 night stay having our towels changed once would have been nice. The only other thing that was irritating was how noisy the lift was. Our room was close to the lift and you could here the late night guests returning and the early morning sun seekers going down for breakfast. I'm sure if we'd asked we could have had another room as the staff were very accommodating, however we didn't so our fault!! Overall, a pleasant stay for the price we'd paid.
Stayed here 7 days. Room included bedroom with double bed, bathroom with separate toilet (which is convenient), and kitchen and living room combined. There were two pretty spacious balconies, which were used frequently. The apartment was air conditioned (and the ac was well functioning). There are two supermarkets located close to the hotel (within around 200 m distance). There are also several bus stops nearby, with several buses taking you to and from the old town (the bus fare is 1,50€ for one single tichet. Tickets can be bought at the bus). The only minus is that there is no room cleaning or changing of towels. You also have to take out your own trash. Overall the stay was pleasant. Would stay here again.
The room is small but has all the space you need when you spend the day at the beach. Small kitchen to make your own breakfast, nice boulangerie and foodstore close to the hotel. You stay in good shape as the elevator didn´t work very often but the stares workes fine. All the staff speaks English which is very good and they are friendly. The wifi didn´t work at all.
We were about to give this aparthotel three stars because that is what it really ought to score. More about this further down. However, on our last day this impression was totally ruined by the manager(?).Here is what happened to us: On one of the balconies overlooking the pool there was a couple of permanent residents shouting down on everyone who didn't follow the strict pool rules completely. All guests we spoke with thought their behavior was ridiculous. At a time the man ran out shouting to us and then on to the reception to make a complaint. The manager (? - he never introduced himself) came out and told all of us to keep strictly to the rules. When some of us tried to explain to him what had happened and who was the real problem, he just turned and walked away. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO TREAT WELL-PAYING GUESTS! Now, back to the main review: Great location, but quite noisy because of the building of the new tram just outside. The apartment had most of what we needed, but was a bit worn. Grocery store around the corner. Only one restaurant near the hotel, but it was a nice one (Magnan). Bus stop on the promenade only 200 meters away.
In the pics the room looks stylish and contemporary but it reality it felt like a corporate cell. Dark corridors with old tatty carpet. No decor at all, not a cushion, vase or anything. Clean and good location but totally bare bland room. See photos.
stayed 20 nights ,1 bedroom unit which is perfect for 2 people , clean ,spacious , sea view from 5th floor up on south side.excellent restaurant across road and supermarket just around the corner ,good bus connections for airport , station .staff all helpfull and friendly. beach in 2 mins and old city a nice 25 min stroll.roadworks outside at this moment but no problem with it and parking is in building.
We rented a hotel apartent of two rooms for a family of three adults and one child. It had a very big balcony with a bit of a sea view, a kitchen corner with all modern appliences, and plenty of cupboards, near the Promenad and 4 kms from the airport. A good choice for a few days' stay
I stayed 3 night at this hotel appart. Service was good ... room clean . Breakfast was good also 8euros The only remark ... how a hotel close between 12h and 14h sat and sun. I arrived on a sat at 13h and was outside for an hour waiting for the hotel to open his doors.
The location of the hotel was good, close to the super market, close to the beach, not many dining options available though. Spent 3 nights at the hotel with 3 other friends, we booked a one bed room with a sofa bed in the living room. The staff at the front desk was pretty helpful when they want to be. The carpark was very confusing when we first arrived. We arrived before check in time and decided to leave our luggage with the hotel and spend the day driving along the coast. When we got back, we found our luggages unattended in the kitchen/breakfast area, there was no staff in sight, thank goodness nothing was missing from our luggage. Just our luck to be staying at the hotel while they were having road works done directly below our room, in the morning we were often woken up by the road works going on outside. Overall an ok experience, till it was time to check out... On the Accor website, it is said to be a service apartment, therefore we assume that they hotel will help with cleaning of the kitchen area. However upon check out the front office lady informed us that the dishes in the kitchen have not been done (there was maybe 4 plates & 4 cups from breakfast that morning) and it's either we go up and clean them ourselves or they will charge 15euro to wash the dishes for us. And NONE of this was mentioned upon check in. It was no big deal, but it spoiled the overall "good impression" we had of the hotel. It also got me thinking how clean the dishes/cups/utensils of the rooms are. I believe no guests will ever be willing to pay the hotel 15 euro for cleaning, hence everyone would clean by themselves. So imagine, guests who were in a rush to check out, doing dishes and leaving them there for the next guests to use, how clean can they be? I recommend everyone to double wash the dishes, cups and utensils before using them!
We stayed at the Accor Apartments for 2 nights, and we were sharing an apartment. We were very satisfied with the location of the Apartments as it is literally 2min to the beach and nice walking distance to the city centre. The area looked safe even walking alone at night. All hotel receptionists were truly helpful and nice.We have received some recommendations of where to eat and how to get to various tourist attractions.
