...the breakfast was mediocre and the staff was downright unfriendly. We were delighted to have the beach right across the street, and we found it to be an ideal location for swimming. The clean sandy beach extends well out into the water, getting deeper very gradually, making it very easy to get in and out, and the water temperature was perfect. We used the water faucet directly outside the hotel to clean off our feet right after our swim. The room was large and comfortable. That's the good news. The bad news was that nobody in the hotel seemed to want to do anything to make us feel welcome. At one point, we approached the front desk to ask for towels we could take to the beach. The two desk clerks acted like that request was somehow out of line, telling us that if we wanted towels, we should have brought them down from our room and that we could later ask housekeeping to bring us extras. Rather than going all the way back up to our 9th-floor room, I asked if they would have housekeeping deliver towels to us there in the lobby. One of the clerks went to get us some towels, but he was gone for about five minutes, and he acted like we had spoiled his day. Even the woman who was serving us our free "hospitality" cocktails in the rooftop bar seemed displeased to see us. Every interaction with a member of the hotel staff left us with a sour impression.
Very convenient location to the beach. Wonderful views. Lots of street noise. Windows are old and do not move easily. Breakfast is adequate but not great. Very close to a large, expensive mall. Large open Lobby. Rooms are large. Air conditioning works fine.
We booked this hotel at the last minute for a quick trip. The location is good, as it's right across the street from the beach, though that particular stretch of beach wasn't very well serviced and not very clean. Many other hotels along this major road have the same advantage. The breakfast, included as part of the room rate, was ok, but limited. The rooms were surprisingly large, which made for more comfort. But overall, the property was a little run down, not appearing well-maintained, especially the common areas. This hotel was probably one of the better options in town up until a few years ago, but Nha Trang, like so much of Vietnam, is in a construction boom and new, big name hotels and resorts are moving in. Many of them may seem overpriced, but if you're accustomed to resort style service and ambiance when visiting a beach town, the extra cost to stay elsewhere may be worth it.
This hotel was located directly across from the beach and within walking distance to numerous tourist sites. The room was nice, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
Large room with ocean view. Breakfast only fair. I tried tea but it was made from something unknown to me. Then, I tried the bitter black syrup served as coffee. I gave up and drank water. I was first one to breakfast at posted time and tables were not clean and service lacking. Air conditioning in the hotel worked great. The room safe was difficult to operate; I had to call the desk to get someone to show me how to operate the complicated procedure.
I loved looking outside my window at the ocean and the main street. My room was very nice and comfortable. I thought that it was nicely outfitted. The breakfast food was very good. The price was awesome!
Right across the street from the beach this high-rise is an excellent choice. The higher floors have wonderful views of the whole city. Wi-Fi is good and the breakfast is fine. It is right next-door to a huge mall and is surrounded by good places to eat. Very nice rooms with lots of room.
Although friendly enough, the Staff don't speak English, and we had to ask repeatedly for new pillows. The room was noisy, especially at night, even on the 9th floor can still hear the club downstairs. Breakfast very poor with regards to choice. Sunbeds and parasol rusty on the beach, and even though staff put out towels for us, they were old and stained. Swimming pool dirty and nothing like the pictures. The pool on the ground floor was out of use and in a bar, so not actually part of the hotel itself. Rooms are clean but Very tired, and the hotel clearly hasn't been updated in years. Would compare to a 3* at a push. Made us pay upon check-in at reception without allowing us to see room first, which was highly disappointing as we would not have stayed, especially for 2 nights, if we had had the choice. No option of shuttle service to or from airport and no contact beforehand unlike other hotels we have stayed in during our time in Vietnam. Overall a poor stay and we were deeply disappointed with our experience in Nha Trang.
Hotel was nice & clean. Couldn't use either pool as the downstairs one was full of leaves & you couldn't see the floor on the roof one as it was too murky. Had a massage in hotels beauty parlour. Paid price asked in entry then one if the girls that massaged my partner asked for money for doing it as she wasn't paid anything by the hotel. Air con wasn't working well. Reported 3 times & they came out & looked at it but still didn't work! Great location though & nice buffet breakfast. Rooms were lively & spacious with a great view of sea.
We stayed her for two nights and enjoyed our stay. Its is an older place but its still clean and comfortable. It is in a great location as well. The staff were attentive and helpful too. The buffet was pretty average. All in all we would stay here again.
