Very nice view ... Large rooms ... Except the Bathroom was small. Carpet was filthy and needed to be stretched, cleaned or replaced. Breakfast was good. They need to update. Our room had a nice seatting area to look out a corner window ... View was fantastic.
In the year 2000s, This hotel seems to be the best in the area, but nothing keep name forever because of new hotels with better look, better room's furnitures. the hotel need to be renewed to make it shining again. I love ít location.
The reception is alright I guess. They spoke some English and it was a large open area, and pretty clean. The location was pretty good too but that's about it. I would not recommend this hotell. Dirty pool area, No sun protection at the pool area, no personal at the pool bar. Not even nearly enough stuff at the gym. The breakfast was limited and not very delightful. The standard was dated somewhere during the 80's. The cleaning is a whole story by itself. They did not refill the refrigerator, they did not change the sheets, they did not wipe the floors, clean the windows(they were barely see through), they did not change the towels, at one time they took 'em but didn't give us new, the did not remove the used toilet rolls and at one time we got no new. Too top things of, we got bugs in the room, alot! They came from the garbage can. I saw no bedbugs thank God! Yeah, and skip their garden restaurant. No English, and you can't expect to get what you've ordered, if anything...! I'm never going back!
We waited over an hour for the food to arrive. When the food arrived the chips were cold and the quality of the food was very ordinary. The service was very poor - worse than the food. Incorrect bills were given and incorrect change given to the wrong person. In addition, there were no serviettes on the table. Rather, wet serviettes were offered at a charge. at the time of ordering the food this was not explained. The staff had little or no understanding of English. it was not a good experience.
This is a hotel that is somewhat past its prime, but a decent choice anyway. The rooms are large, the buffet breakfast is decent, and the location is great - right across the street from the beach. And it's a beautiful beach, a nice place for a long, leisurely walk. The staff at the hotel, however, are somewhat cold and distant - they don't make you feel welcome. Speaking of welcoming, when our group arrived they served us small glasses of lukewarm Coke as a welcome drink! They have a little to learn about hospitality.
...the breakfast was mediocre and the staff was downright unfriendly. We were delighted to have the beach right across the street, and we found it to be an ideal location for swimming. The clean sandy beach extends well out into the water, getting deeper very gradually, making it very easy to get in and out, and the water temperature was perfect. We used the water faucet directly outside the hotel to clean off our feet right after our swim. The room was large and comfortable. That's the good news. The bad news was that nobody in the hotel seemed to want to do anything to make us feel welcome. At one point, we approached the front desk to ask for towels we could take to the beach. The two desk clerks acted like that request was somehow out of line, telling us that if we wanted towels, we should have brought them down from our room and that we could later ask housekeeping to bring us extras. Rather than going all the way back up to our 9th-floor room, I asked if they would have housekeeping deliver towels to us there in the lobby. One of the clerks went to get us some towels, but he was gone for about five minutes, and he acted like we had spoiled his day. Even the woman who was serving us our free "hospitality" cocktails in the rooftop bar seemed displeased to see us. Every interaction with a member of the hotel staff left us with a sour impression.
Very convenient location to the beach. Wonderful views. Lots of street noise. Windows are old and do not move easily. Breakfast is adequate but not great. Very close to a large, expensive mall. Large open Lobby. Rooms are large. Air conditioning works fine.
We booked this hotel at the last minute for a quick trip. The location is good, as it's right across the street from the beach, though that particular stretch of beach wasn't very well serviced and not very clean. Many other hotels along this major road have the same advantage. The breakfast, included as part of the room rate, was ok, but limited. The rooms were surprisingly large, which made for more comfort. But overall, the property was a little run down, not appearing well-maintained, especially the common areas. This hotel was probably one of the better options in town up until a few years ago, but Nha Trang, like so much of Vietnam, is in a construction boom and new, big name hotels and resorts are moving in. Many of them may seem overpriced, but if you're accustomed to resort style service and ambiance when visiting a beach town, the extra cost to stay elsewhere may be worth it.
This hotel was located directly across from the beach and within walking distance to numerous tourist sites. The room was nice, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
Large room with ocean view. Breakfast only fair. I tried tea but it was made from something unknown to me. Then, I tried the bitter black syrup served as coffee. I gave up and drank water. I was first one to breakfast at posted time and tables were not clean and service lacking. Air conditioning in the hotel worked great. The room safe was difficult to operate; I had to call the desk to get someone to show me how to operate the complicated procedure.
