Amazing staff but very cheap hotel
The staff are super friendly and helpful. There are 4 floors and no elevator, the staff took our bags up for us but it's a lot of steps. The room was ok. (See photos) furniture had burn marks on it and chewing gum. The phone was not connected. The pillows were not good and bad stains on them. The bed was hard but that's fine, the sheets had marks on them. The light in the bedroom was a neon blue, no other lights worked in the bedroom. There was no remote for the TV but that's ok. The Air conditioning worked fine. In the bathroom when we arrived there was no towels or toilet paper so we used our own phones to call reception and they brought them up for us. I have to say the bathroom was looking clean. The shower had hot water but no shower head just the pipe with water pouring out, I'm sure if we had asked this would have been fixed. We didn't notice at first but after the staff left the bags in our room they never gave us a key to the room, so I went down to ask for it. The friendly staff said the last guest had not returned the key, he joked not to worry the staff here are safe so no need for a key. I said what about the other guests? So he gave me the master key. The room had a fridge but it didn't work same for the fan. It's a cheap hotel nothing like the photos on here. Location is good with loads of places to eat drink show and cafes. Hotel is on back street so quiet with no sound of the traffic. Great staff but not good hotel.
