Not worth the money we paid. We were told we had been upgraded but in fact we had been changed to a room at the back of the complex which had 24hrs noise from the road and staff starting maintence work @5am. The A/c in our room would default back to 28C in the middle of the night. The shower was just a shower head over a bath with either scalding or cold water no medium temp( the original room i booked had a walk in shower) The food was poor standard and the restaurant we ate in had approx 3 Vietnamese dishes from a large menu of european food

We have travelled down Vietnam staying in a variety of 1-3 star hotels. We decided this resort would be a nice treat midway through our holiday, we were wrong. This place was no where near the quality I would expect from a 5 star. I have listed examples below; - Bathroom outdated and poor quality - Aircon needs servicing, smells damp - Building works going on around the resort - Cracked tiles round the pool - WiFi really poor, cuts out and slow - TV in room, broken remote, poor signal - Laundry service was very expensive. £40 for what would have been maybe 1 load of washing in a domestic washing machine - when ordering at bar/restaurant staff lacked basic English (I understand we are in Vietnam but the standard of English has been incredible everywhere we have been so far) - Spa service was very expensive and a poor experience (temp building, in room with multiple other people, building work going on, no music etc) The whole experience was also incredibly overpriced in comparison to Vietnam generally. Below are some examples, to try to be as objective as possible about it; Beer Saigon - Hotel 45,000vnd (small) - outside 20-30,000 (large) Pho Bo. - Hotel 140,000vnd - Outside 55,000vnd Fried S/rolls - hotel 130,000 vnd - Outside 25-40,000 vnd 60 min Massage - Hotel 960,000vnd - Outside 550,000vnd Laundry - as mentioned above On average a meal was costing between 800,000 - 1,000,000vnd with 1-2 drinks each. Outside we have not had a meal over 600,000vnd with 2-3 drinks each and I would say the quality was generally better. Overall this was a really disappointing couple of days and we wish we hadn't chosen this resort. If you are looking for a 5star experience this place is not it and I would look elsewhere!

First of all this is DEFINITELY NOT a 5* hotel/resort. Far from it. From check in, we were told that our room won't be ready for another 3 hours, at 2pm. Not a problem, but the lady at the check-in desk had to be "persuaded" to give us a tag for our luggage in their care. This was in spite of the fact of the baggage being left on the stairs just next to the arriving and departure vehicles. When we got back 3 hours later, the baggage was still left at the stairs, easily picked up by some dishonest departing guest. The guests at this hotel are definitely not 5* , probably from the Russian and China slums. They don't line up for anything, talk and shout on top of their voices. Worst, they use their fingers to pick up food at the breakfast buffet table. More like ZERO * for the majority of the guests. I only had the buffet breakfast, food is barely edible.....made unhygienic by children and other people using their fingers to pick up food. Rooms are adequate, but only if you are living in the Villas, not regular rooms. Those are located right next to the highway that runs from the airport to Nha Trang town. Traffic noise and incessant hooting will drive one crazy. The beach is a joke. It's an ecological disaster. Please look at the construction and slick in the enclosed pics. The stage belts out loud pop music and so much for relaxation on the beach.

The pool is huge and beautiful, breakfast at a big restaurant with a lot of choice, delicious food. The resort is beautiful with friendly staffs. I stayed in a ocean bungalow, bed is large and comfy soft pillows, there is a nice dish of fresh fruits when we received room, the toilet is big with perfect shower. Awesome stay with reasonable price, i like it and I definitely stay here again and highly recommend for this resort

Peace and quiet is very important to me. So I booked a garden room. Imagine my disappointment when I could hear the traffic from the highway! Beware the rooms near the highway - they are not soundproof. But the hotel manager was very good and he transferred me to a garden bungalow, which was absolutely peaceful and worth the upgrade. Had a very good night's sleep. Minor irritants including being locked out when the key cards don't work. Huge crowd at the breakfast buffet. Amazing pool.

My wife, and I did not enjoy our stay at Diamond Bay Resort. The staff had poor english. The shuttle bus to the city got over booked (even though we were given tickets?) and we waited an hour for another one. The breakfast buffet was in a giant shed, quite uncomfortable. Overall, it was a disappointing visit. We do not intend on returning.

This place is a beautiful resort compound nestled between the rolling green mountains and coastline. We stayed one night but felt very relaxed and taken care of by thoughtful staff. We enjoyed the happy hour massage not once but twice and had no regrets. If you want to be outside of the hustle and bustle of the city center but be in the beauty of the bay and relax, this is your place! Or you could enjoy both being that the city center is only about 20 minutes away.

This hotel resort is nice for relaxing. It is quiet and out of the way. 20mins ~ 25mins from the city. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at any hotel. Simply amazing. But thats where the praise ends. The rooms are dated and the bathrooms are way too old. They really need updating. I have had better bathroom facilities in motels. The staff were friendly, but I doubt I would stay here again.

Ground staff are awesomely friendly Again such a let down - English speaking staff need to be employed or at least train your locals man ... great rooms, great grounds, awesome pool .... BUT your service sucks !!!! No service at pool - restaurant/bar at pool far below average - you could do so much more and better Reception... they say they speak English and just say yes - in fact - promote your concierge he speaks much better English than the front desk manager !!!!

Last year I had the desire to look for a resort with green garden, quiet and peaceful to stay away for a few days and this resort was everything I needed. The landscape was great with green lush surrounded all the bungalows. The staff were attentive, useful and always said "xin chao". The services were good, especially the varied breakfast. There was a remarkable point I have to mention is the huge swimming pool which is larger than I could imagine. I read that there were a few not much positive comments about the resort recently. But I believe that apart from a few recent negative changes, the resort has its own advantages which I believe that it could satisfy most of the guests. In short, if you are looking for a peaceful place for a getaway to stay far from the hustle and bustle city, for both couple and family travel style, I recommend that this is indeed the resort what you need.
