One night stay, not stayed before, excellent breakfast, room had a superb heated towel rail in the en suite but the storage heater in the bedroom was cold and it was November. Parking is at rear but it's OK.

Decor a little tired but it was spotless. Bed comfy although pillows a bit on the firm side for me. Staff were brilliant, friendly and help-full. Only fault is the curtains, could not be pulled or opened without standing on a chair and although blackout, because of the rail (eyelit style), they let a lot of light in and bathroom door handle could do with WD40 as nighttime bathroom visits would wake my wife.

The location of this property is unbeatable. Close to the ocean and an easy walk to downtown. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I liked the parking which had a cost but was very convenient. They need to do a bit of work on the place. There was some areas in the room that needed painting and plaster work. The shower and bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was very good.

Lovely hotel. It has a buzz and caters for every age. Great breakfast and bar food. Welcome was great. Easy car park. All good. We will return.

Oceanside hotel

Very enjoyable stay, great room with balcony overlooking the golf course and fistral. Loved the cornish breakfast. Nice bar inside and terrace outside. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Not what we expected!

Booked this stay @ Oceanside few wks before stay & ended up speaking to a gentleman @ hotel reception after booking as taking dog so wanted to check details! He was pleased we rang as he could move us to a bigger room with dog excellent I thought. Checked in & realised we were put in a very small room 9x11, small d bed very uncomfortable also & en-suite of sorts ! The phrase couldn’t swing a cat was not a joke had to put suitcase in window only place, no other rooms left so couldn’t move us sadly, stayed 1 night only & got a refund next day ! Staff lovely !

A wonderful find

An exceptional stay. Superb staff. I stayed with my teenage sons and puppy and the care and attention shown by staff was above and beyond. The hotel might not have 5 stars or be deemed luxurious, but the comfort, friendliness and level of service, far surpasses many of the 5 star hotels I have visited. It was tailored to meet our needs perfectly! We will return!

Really enjoyed our stay staff couldn’t do enough to help you and really friendly outside room was really well maintained my only very slight remark was a few small signs of wear and tare in our room altho was still immaculately clean just thought a £200 per night room shouldn’t have shown few signs of wear that could be easily fixed … overall very happy breakfast was really good would recommend

Great location, good view Bed uncomfortable Tiny shower cubicle far too small elbows hit the sides of cubicle, not great. Requested a fan was told one would be left outside room door, but didn’t happen Back down to reception, asked again fan provided broken and did not work, Back downstairs to reception again to ask for a none broken working fan, finally got one had to ask three times Breakfast ok bottle of water provided and refills Plenty tea, coffee & milk
