Stayed here 3 nights and ended up getting another night. 3rd night on my way to work I let the front desk the toilet was backed up and all I was offered was a plunger to fix it myself! I told them that I was leaving but u would be back in the morning. Fast forward to the next morning my daughter used the restroom and flushed it before I could catch her and the toilet started flooding the whole room!! 3pm today I had management knocking on my door saying I had to pay $150 in damages or I had an hour to get our if I couldnt pay even tho after spending $218 for 3 nights and then $70 for a 4th I have to leave because I refuse to pay $150 in damages they claim the reason was excessive tissue and they will not give me my money back! From the cockroaches and now this I can say this has been my worst experience EVER staying at any hotel.

The room was great, the service was great. Everything worked out to be a good stay. Didn’t stay long to see how the breakfast was. But my main priority was the stay and the room cleanliness.

Breakfast was a joke. Workers not friendly. Rooms were big though. No ice.

Spacious room is convenient and reasonably priced.

The couch had a fold out bed. That was neat! It was a spacious room. Very little offered for breakfast. The ceiling in the hallway by the lobby was gutted all the way down the hall. Sand was in the bathroom when we got there. Unsure if I saw mold above the shower or not.

The one person working at the hotel when I arrived was not at the desk when I got there but arrived soon after. He was very friendly and professional. The hotel is a non-smoking hotel, but walking through the hallways you can tell it isn't the case. There was plenty of odor of cigarettes and marijuana. The floors and elevator were dingy from dirt. There was a spill of salt or sugar in the elevator that was in the elevator when we arrived Saturday night and was still there on Sunday morning. My room had clearly not been vacuumed. There were hard candy wrappers on the floor. Even the employee agreed that it was unsatisfactory. The non-carpet floors in the room were sticky. The location is very good for food and shopping, but it rests nearly at the end of a dead end road next to a vacant building that appears to be a former restaurant. At night, the parking lot of the vacant building drew a half dozen vehicles. The people with the cars were lighting off fireworks after 10:00 p.m. There were a lot of contractors coming and going in the short time we were there.

This used to be my go-to lodging for extended stays in Newport News. Not any more. The room was not particularly clean and had a stale odor. The AC made a whining noise when it shut off and the refrigerator also made excessive noise. Overall, it seemed run down and in need of an upgrade.

Facilities a bit run down- bathroom toilet not flushing. Had to be moved to new room.

It was okay.just smells BAD.I was here on business

The rooms were not special in apprearance. The rooms functioned for our purpose.
