We cook more than we dine out, so the well-equipped, organized kitchen was greatly appreciated.Information provided by host regarding local activities etc is amazing. I've been visiting this area for many many years and found things on this list that I did not know existed!This was our second stay at Cottage with a View, and hopefully it won't be our last.

Amazing Dock and Private Swimming Area

We absolutely love this rental! This was our second time staying here and we've created so many special memories. We love the huge, open, grassy yard with the swing. We love watching the sunset on the dock every night and the gorgeous view of the stars. We have found awesome shells here and enjoy paddleboarding and kayaking. It's a short drive from Beaufort and we enjoy taking a boat ride there. The kitchen has everything you need. The neighbors are great and it makes for a peaceful, relaxing trip.

Great Location

I do not think that you could find a better location. This cottage is close to everything. The description of the cottage was spot on so I knew that it was a little older and had small bathrooms going in. My 8 year old loved the dock and exploring the beach. We hope to stay here again when we are in the area.

TRULY HARD TO BEAT

Second time staying at this property and the cabin/cottage vibe is just so cozy. The history of this place is a cool touch, if you’re into that. Sunrises and sunsets here are immaculate! Great views from everywhere (yard, bedrooms, living room, porch, etc). Accommodating for larger groups with a large yard for children to play and lots of seating! The beds are comfy. This property has everything you need in a great location and as I titled my review, in my opinion, HARD TO BEAT! We can’t wait to stay again!

Lovely Cottage

This was a beautiful home for the 4 of us to stay in. It was cozy and relaxing with a beautiful view of the Sound. We would definitely recommend it and look fire to coming back in the near future. Only downfall is not having everything provided so that meant more packing for our long trip, BUT not worth losing a star over.. I clean houses and air b&bs for a living so comparing to what I’ve seen, this nice little cottage is a perfect get away for any family if any size. I would have stayed longer if I could have.

Much needed quick trip

That view!!! I have stayed at this property several times. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. The back bathroom is small but.... you can make it work. I hope to visit here again.

This is my second stay in as many months and had an awesome time both stays. I can’t say enough about the location and view. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the neighbour's are very friendly. The house has everything you need and more. We especially love it for the fishing. With the Waves convience store at entrance of the neighbourhood and the IGA just across the highway you never have to travel far for what you need. We look forward to coming back next year. This is definitely our place stay when we come to this area.

Amazing views and fantastic fishing

The cottage with a view was an amazing stay. The host was really helpful in providing tips on good restaurants, things to do and how to fish the area. The home is exactly as described and the dock and view is even nicer in person.

Amazing location

The house is unique in that it has a large lot with a nice lawn in the front and back. Not normally what you would find at a beach house. The dock is great for fishing, water sports and star gazing. Walkable grocery stores are also a big plus.
