The apartment was clean, very comfortable and spacious. The Chifley is convenient in location to the wharf area and restaurants. Only down side is the trucks travelling over the speed humps on the street early in the morning.
Expected better from 4 stars. Excellent location and friendly staff. Very expensive for an apartment. Could have paid similar or less for something in Sydney CBD. Parking was not included in the high price.
Great apartment ,large clean and well equiped. Parking is not the best around this apartment Location was a bit hard to find as agoda address didn't match actual address Well wiorth the money Credit to reception staff excellent service and friendly
Rooms were very clean with plenty of room. Would definitely recommend staying there to others. The pool looked lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great area to stay with all the restaurants nearby.
This property is right across the road from the Harbour strip. It has such a vibe down there. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and be merry. The Apartments themselves are very modern and clean. I very much enjoyed my stay there.
A well looked after hotel, with only a couple comments. One face washer for two people is a little mean. The toilet is too close to the shower screen (Not much you can do about that) Overall, very pleasant
Comfortable beds, clean room, spacious and very well equipped kitchen. Very convenient location close to everything. Free WiFi that was reliable and easy to use. Large balcony with seating, and large windows
For anyone who has traveled with a large electric wheelchair and additional equipment...this may be of use. We had hoped that our arrival would be greatly assisted by a porter's assistance. I admit the price for our overnight stay persuaded me to expect this and I therefore, didn't ask prior to booking. Our arrival and departure were very difficult for me...up and down level with all and sundry items, whilst my husband was forced to wait unsupported throughout. He was clearly concerned by my load. The receptionist was lovely, but clearly not able to leaver her station to be of any substantial assistance. The room was fine, bathroom lovely and large but beware of the floor tiles when they are wet...dangerously slippery. The gentleman who assisted me by booking a taxi was helpful prior to our arrival, but I would certainly suggest this venue needs someone to assist with arrivals and departures. The lifts were large enough without turning my husbands chair and quite fast. The bed was limited to only one side access, but this is not unusual and with the assitance of a simple slide sheet, I was able to transfer my husband and position him suitably in his preferred position in the bed. The rooms were clean but I didn't sample the small offerings of the "mini bar"...not sure how long some of the items may have been there. The lesson we have learned is check for any type of assistance upon arrival and departure to take some of the heavy burden off your shoulders prior to booking...never assume the price is a clear indicator for porter/concierge duties.
We stayed at Chifley Hotel for 7 nights in a one bedroom apartment. The staff informed us that this was the best of the one bedrooms. It lacked any soul, very poorly furnished (not one picture on the wall even) the bare minimum. We were there for our sons wedding and it was so disappointing staying in that room considering the ratings I had read. The room had a light clean after the fourth day which surprised me as every other hotel we have stayed in is made up every day. I had to ask for extra soap, more toilet paper, clean towels. The air conditioning bodes not work properly and was noisy. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful but I would never stay there again.
Would definitely stay here again. I found the room to be very clean and very comfortable. We stayed to go and see the Live at the Foreshore Concert so the location of the Hotel was perfect and plenty of food places around.
