Absolute waterfront, cute , 3 bedroom family cottage!

Sleep literally 5 meters from the clear deepwater frontage great for fishing and swimming.

Snorkel for a look at fish and old sandstone ballast from coal ships while eating oysters from rocks at low tide. Watch the sharp shells. (Water shoes, personal life vest, and flippers advised.)

Walk the nature reserve and spot the swooping Owls.

Use the kayaks and standup paddleboards while wondering if there is life on Mars! (Jetty is not our property.)

Situated 1-hour 50min drive from Sydney on the beautiful Lake Macquarie.

The amazing views are so close to the water! This is the family weekender we are sharing with you. It's not a fancy hotel, we use it too so expect lots of books, and games and maybe food in the cupboards for all to use, please.

We also allow pets (as long as they are super well-behaved) but we have no fences so please no horses! Once again, no fences so please bring extra-long dog leads.

Over all - you’re paying top dollar to be on the water. The cleaning fee is very expensive for the minimal cleaning that is carried out. Nice place, but with the lack of attention to keeping it clean and maintained, it is very expensive just to be on the water front. (Which mind you, is extremely public and shared with a lot of people so don’t expect a nice sleep in)

Peaceful serenity , tidal lake water laps just meters from the deck, western sun sets over the lake sleeping over the distant hills, rain forest gardens bring a comforting embrace , the little house welcomes the friendly visitor like it has a soul , I think the piano reverbed across the lake waters , the house has everything you need , clean quaint and comfortable .Thanks to DJ our stay was just perfect , cheers Leroy Denae and puppy Eddie

Christmas holiday to remember

Perfect place to relax, unwind, soak in the view & the sunsets. Activities galore or sit & chill with a book. David super easy to communicate with & he responds in a timely manner!! Absolutely worth the drive from Queensland!!

Waterfront property

It was winter we were lucky enough to have amazing weather and a great sunset we enjoyed the kayaks and the homey feel of the place as explained in the description of the place it is the families weekender not a luxury hotel probably a little overpriced for a 3 night stay in winter did appreciate it did come well equipped with what you need for the stay and pet friendly David was a great host thank you for our stay

Cute hideaway location with breathtaking views

The most beautiful views I've ever seen! The home has such a welcoming atmosphere, the host has done an amazing job is making you feel right at home. The host was also very accommodating and approachable.
