    Do not rent this unit. The pictures of the inside of the unit are mostly accurate, though there is no closet or drawer space. The unit wasn't cleaned very well with dirty counters, an unclean refrigerator, stained towels, and no body wash. The big issue is that the outside images are wildly deceptive and nothing pictured is anywhere near the apartment building. The MetLife Center is 5 mi away and New York City is a 40 minute train ride. This apartment is in a bad, unsafe neighborhood with crackheads walking the streets and trash everywhere. The neighbors are noisy and spend their days blaring music and getting high with the smell spilling into the hallways. When I approached the owner about the pictures "not being as described," she denied responsibility. For my own safety, I left early, and though the owner replied to my concerns (mainly to focus the blame elsewhere), she made no offer of a refund nor compensation. For your own safety, I wouldn't recommend renting this unit either. Also, the owner asked me to write a good review for her saying she would also write a good review for me. But I do not believe in quid pro quo coercion. I want to be honest so others do not find themselves in the same situation as I did.
