The hotel is clean and beautiful and in close proximity to subway. The staff was excellent. My only complaint was the breakfast was very crowded and ran out of food items both days I was there.

Everything was fabulous! We got in early so dropped our bags off earlier in the day and got our tickets to retrieve them later after check in time. When we arrived later, Mery checked us in and was so extremely helpful. She was very thorough, detailed, and answered our questions before we could even ask them. She was extremely polite and mailed a postcard for us (we provided the stamp). I'm not picky, I don't need anything fancy, just a bed and a nice place overall. My adult daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights in October and this was a perfect location for everything near Times Square and Broadway. The Bellmen will even hail a cab for you or suggest private car service for a fee or Uber. For the city, it was extremely quiet. Of course in any hotel you'll hear noise like other guests closing doors but aside from that this was quiet. No concerns with the bed or AC and I like a cool room. As many reviews mentioned yes, the frosted glass in-between the bathroom and bedroom is a little interesting but if you just look away when the person's showering, it's not a big deal. The only con I would say is the bathroom light is pretty bright as far as shining thru the frosted glass if someone is still sleeping. A lot of people made comments about the breakfast and how busy it was but it's New York, it'll be busy anywhere you go. It was organized in a fast, New York way when you have droves of people coming in at all times so I think they did great! Would definitely stay again!

This hotel is apparently well known internationally. The room was clean and adequate although noise carries since there are no carpets anywhere. We could hear our neighbors next door talking in the morning. The breakfast while wide in variety and with ample supply, the scene was complete chaos with people not respecting personal space, reaching across me at the buffet line to grab a bagel, and cutting in line. Every single table was full at 7:30am. The happy hour however was a nice treat with great drinks at really reasonable prices. I definitely liked this location as it’s far enough away from Times Square to be a bit quieter.

Everything was perfect, except when we first checked in and settled into our room, took a shower and the water overflowed into the flooring. Maintenance came up right away and fixed it, but that evening, one of the main lights wouldn’t shut off because the switch was broke and since that was late in the evening, we had a hard time getting a hold of someone to come up and fix it because we wasn’t able to sleep with that blaring in our eyes.. They ended up switching us to a different room, but everything other than that was perfect. The next morning, though they were switching our rooms and staff was very friendly, very clean rooms, extremely great location for Times Square, but quite enough you can sleep because it was only a block away.

Centrally located hotel. Clean and fresh. Excellent breakfast, fresh berries, vegetables, yogurt, nuts, apricots, bacon, scrambled eggs, different types of bread, donuts, etc. Fast service by friendly staff. A bit hard beds. We slept 2 adults and two teenagers in a double room with a sofa bed. Pushed the double beds together, 1.35 cm wide and slept 3 in them. The sofa bed quite short. No possibility to make tea/coffee in the room. Recommended.
