They need to change their pillows, it’s so flat that u need 2/3 pillows. The bed is good and comfortable but the front desk guy was horrible, took too much time to check in and asked pillows several times like 4 times and got smelly pillows. They didn’t have any napkins inside and the AC was noisy but it’s okay because it’s noisy almost everywhere.

We had few choices when booking last minute. This property was available so we booked it. The staff were nice enough but the cleanliness standards were super low. Had my wife been with me, there’s no way that she would’ve stayed based on the lack of cleanliness standards.
Open closet with housekeeper only dusted half of it.

I never write negative reviews, as I know how tough the service industry is. That said…for the price, this was a pretty dire experience. It was an overnight before the Ryder Cup for my son and I and all we sought was a bed and a clean room. It failed to provide even that. The room stunk of bleach on arrival, so much so that it affected our breathing all night. We are no shrinking violets either. Despite the bleach, the room was essentially filthy and not sanitary. It felt below the level of a $40 drive-up motel. Even they can be clean sometimes. We managed to tolerate it but this stay was way below acceptable.

The location is fairly close to JFK Airport. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the facility quite elegant on the surface. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. BUT! It was hard to get into the room because one of the security features was jamming it...fortunately a staff member with muscle was nearby and forced it open for me. The toilet had a leaky flapper valve and I had to fill the tank with water from the ice bucket in order to flush it. The sink drain was partially clogged, draining very slowly. The refrigerator was either not working or unplugged, possibly both. And the thermostat was set to 55F!
