Absolutely loved our time at this home. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. The beds were comfortable and the views were beautiful. It was comfortable and homey and so relaxing. We will definitely be going back.

Great Place

We enjoyed this house on the beach very much. From a kitchen that had nearly everything we needed, to very comfortable beds, to separate floors for our two families, to very nice remodeled bathrooms. The kids found shells and boogie boarded daily. New Smyrna beach has some nice restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay again.

The host was very responsive to all of our questions throughout the stay. Her property is in the very quiet end of NSB and she has a great big deck. You walk right onto the beach. The home is well equipped with everything you need.

We were very pleased with this place. Great location if you like being right on the beach but a little away from the crowds and noise in the downtown New Smyrna area. At times we felt we had the beach to ourselves. The house was in great condition, very clean, and well equipped. Everyone in our group liked this place (which is unusual) and we would definitely stay here again.

Was a good property right on the beach with a nice deck! Kids loved the bunk beds, other bedroom beds were slightly uncomfortable. The only negative was the massive amounts of bugs outside, bring bug spray! Overall, the beach access was awesome! Owner was very communicative on any questions.

It was love at first sight

I have to say that renting this property for my family vacation was the best decision I have made. The house was beautiful. The accommodation and the amenities were superb. The privacy of the beach could not be better. The beach and the view, what can I say. It was love at first sight. If I'll do this again next year, I would definitely rent this property again. Perfect for our family of 8!

Loved this beach house! Having the bottom floor being totally separate gave family members more privacy. Having our own private beach was remarkable, and so near the Canaveral National Seashore made for great morning walks along the beach. We had hoped to see a rocket launch but unfortunately it was cancelled. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby but having the full kitchen, we cooked/grilled many of our meals at home. A great way to bring family together for a vacation! Tammy was MOST hospitable with frequent email updates prior to and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Beach Getaway

My wife, boys (12 & 14) and parents spent our spring break at Tammy's beach home and loved every second! The home is spacious and well equipped and it is situated on a quiet section of New Smyrna Beach. While there, we traveled to Daytona Beach, Disney, Universal, and Kennedy Space Center and spent a few days just relaxing on the beach. The home is equipped with beach chairs and boogie boards which we used quite a bit. We also spent a morning kayaking on the river and got up close and personal with dolphins and manatees. There are many great dining options in the area and we will certainly be coming back down again. Thank you to Tammy for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Experience!

Rented this home with some of my large family and had a wonderful time. Owner is GREAT to work with and very accommodating. Plenty of square feet for a lot of people and neat sun deck for private sun bathing. Super close to the ocean with beautiful views! One thing I don't remember reading from the description is that to get from the downstairs rooms to upstairs, the stairs are outside. No big deal, but just something helpful if planning a stay with small children. We are hoping to come back later this year and stay again. :)

Enjoyable family beach vacation

Location, location, location. Beautiful area of very private beach. The owner is great with communication along the way and during the stay. . .A+ Rooms and beds were as described. Very comfortable beds. I would have appreciated thicker pillows, however. No issues whatsoever with technology. Appreciated the bigger screen tvs for those rainy times! The kids loved the bunk room. We did all learn about the no-see-ums in Florida. We got hit pretty hard. But, even that did not stop us from having the vacation we were all hoping for. JB's Fish became our daily journey--right down the street. Delicious and reasonably priced. We all had a great time!

Great Experience

This house is located on one of the most beautiful parts of New Smyrna Beach, technically, Bethune Beach, just 200 feet from Cape Canaveral Sea Shore - the longest stretch of pristine undeveloped beach in Florida. It just doesn't get more secluded or picturesque than this! This house is located right on the beach, quite literally across an almost no traffic street from the Indian River. We took a pontoon boat ride on the river and saw manatees and bottle nose dolphins (both live in the river year round) as well as countless birds - heron, osprey, bald eagles, egrets. The house has two decks beachside and one riverside. So you can catch sunsets and sunrises. The only thing that would have been nice to have, but not necessary, is a table with an umbrella or some other partial cover for those of us who want to be out on the deck, but not in full sun. But that's not a complaint, just a suggestion. This review would not be complete without a 5 star thank you to Tammy for being such a great host and making everything so easy.

A Great Family Vacation House!

This is an amazing place. There were 11 of us total staying here for a family vacation and we had a great time. The house is incredibly well-appointed and had everything we could need. The beach was awesome! We saw a few other people from other houses but overall there were very few people and we had the beach to ourselves many times. There were several boogie boards, chairs and tubes in the garage for guests to use. The kids loved surfing the waves and building sand castles with the sand toys. Beds were comfy and the house was clean. We did notice some trash (like wrappers, paper pieces) under some of the beds and the owner sent the cleaning crew out to take care of it. Tammy was very responsive and incredibly helpful. Our only complaint, which has NOTHING to do with the house or the owner, was the no-see-ums that were in abundance. A couple of us were covered in bites before we had realized what happened. The owner did let us know she provided some thermacells to help with this as they are particularly bad this year. Again, not a complaint against the owner or location by any means, but good to know if you plan to go in August! Don't hesitate to book this place! You won't regret it!

Warning! You will not want to leave this house or this beach.

My wife and I have five children; our two oldest brought friends along so we had a total of 10 people and plenty of room left over. The appliances are new; the beds are new; the sectionals are new. You'll feel like you are hanging out in style. We visited the state-park whose entrance is literally 1/2 mile from your drive-way; 5$ for the entire automobile. We drove up to Daytona in no-time flat. JB's Fish Camp provided some great food. It is 1/2 a mile away so we ate in once and picked-up carry-out twice. We stayed outside most of the time but when we did come-in the Internet/WiFi connection held up great with multiple users viewing YouTube; NetFlix and Hulu. This home is very spacious and everything works. We grilled-out on the Grill-Master grill which fired up on the first press of the button. You can see the river from the upstairs bedrooms/deck or listen to the waves of the ocean from the back multi-level deck. If you want to relax and pretend you own a private stretch of beach for a week; this is the place to stay. The owner is super "customer-service" oriented. She is a great communicator, and she provides extensive information and help for having a successful stay. I would definitely stay in this home again. Highly recommend this beach home for your vacation in New Smyrna Beach Florida. You will not be disappointed.

Everyone loved this place!

We've stayed at a number of houses and condos on Florida beaches and this might be our favorite. First of all, the pictures don't exaggerate - you are right on the ocean and can watch and listen to the waves from the house or deck. Everything was in good shape. It was obvious the kitchen and other things have been recently updated. This might be the least crowded section of beach in the New Smyrna area, as you are 5-6 miles south of downtown New Smyrna. We rented kayaks nearby at JBs FIsh Camp, took a boat trip from the Canaveral National Seashore, played tennis at the nearby Bethune Park and took our dog for a morning walk/swim at the Smyrna Dunes Park (a bit of a drive but worth it). Dogs are not allowed on the beach near the house or in general on the New Smyrna beaches but we cheated a little and took her for an early evening walk on the beach, when you basically have the beach to yourself. One activity we really enjoyed was renting beach cruiser bikes in downtown New Smyrna and biking the 6 miles on the beach back to our place. Do this during low-tide and when the wind is at your back and this is an almost effortless ride and incredible way to see the complete New Smyrna beach. Being lazy, we then put the bikes in the car and drove them back to the rental place instead of biking against the wind. About the only reason not to rent this place is if you wanted to be closer to downtown New Smyrna Beach. The downtown area is an easy 10 minute drive where you have lots of options for dinner, shopping, etc. and we liked being a little ways away from it.

Exactly What We Needed! To Get Away And Onto the Beach.

Tammy's house is exactly what we were looking for. A place to get away from it all and on the beach! The house comes with just about everything you will want or need. It's pretty much as the pictures show it. We had guests stay with us and they stayed in the lower unit completely separate from us (It has everything minus a kitchen) so they had all the privacy they wanted. The kitchen (upstairs) has all of the amenities that you would need to make your own meals, and that's what we did. As for the beach, except for the occasional walker, we pretty much had it all to ourselves and the weather was perfect! The waves were bigger than we expected (not surf-able, but there were waves!), but then Tammy has Boogie Boards in the garage, so we took advantage of that too! The ocean, looks murky by the shore, but if you are brazen enough, wade out to the sand bar at low tide and you will see that the water is actually very clear, just cloudy by the shore from the waves breaking. As for the bugs, I do have to warn that the Mosquitos and No-seeums are RELENTLESS and bug spray and protection is a MUST. Especially at dusk and evenings. Bottom Line, We had a wonderful time and I would stay here again!

Location Location

The decks at this rental are amazing and offer a beach experience no matter whether one can walk in the sand or not. Views are spectacular. Accommodations are comfortable.
