New Plymouth Garden Festival Stay
Apart from the dodgy exit due to flax leaves that need cutting back, this place was in a great location for heading out to all the gardens we visited. Also great for bike rides to Rotomanu and the coastal pathway. The house itself was basic, but had everything we needed including a very comfy bed

No working oven or TV.
It was a shock to arrive to find we could not use the oven which had been out of order for at least 18 months according to reviews. Time to stop looking for that spare part and replace the oven! The TV also did not work-fairly major when we had planned a blobbing break away. We also found that, especially in the rain the access steps most definitely needed a hand-rail.
If not for those major items it could have been a great spot. The bed was extremely comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked well. The property manager was most obliging and as helpful as she was able to be.
