This unique space has a style all of it own. SkyBox is New Philadelphia's premier lodging experience. 1800s charm mixed with updated amenities such as electric fireplaces, unique fixtures ,led lighting , smart toilet with bidet , asian panel shower, lighted faucets, theater seating & more Offering the best views in town, and a luxurious lodging experience for an affordable price. Located downtown New Philadelphia , a stone's throw from restaurants and bars and Kent performing arts center.
The space
It was built in 1867 and empty for 100 years . We restored the original tile in the living room and bathroom, keeping all the original wood doors and library as well as a fireplace . We wanted to preserve as much of the old beauty while adding new amenities. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and a couch bed in the livingroom. (sleeps up to 4 guests.)
