Beautiful antique furnished historic space feels more like a private home. Comprising the first floor of this 1855 Greek Revival restored townhouse, it is luxuriously large. Historic architectural features include 12 ft ceilings, decorative elements such as original carved wooden archway in parlors, large doors and windows, exposed brick and wood long plank floors. Open eating area and living room arrangement comfortably accommodates your group. This space includes its own private shaded courtyard. The bathroom off the dining room didn't have a working electric outlet! The kitchenette wasn't very efficient! A small table next to the doorway to the dining room would be helpful for future guests. A dresser in the bedroom next to the dining room would be really nice. A handbook for the property should be available for guests. The rug in the 1st bed is very uncomfortable when walking barefoot. We really enjoyed the location. Felt safe walking around the neighborhood. Shopping and restaurants were within walking distance. Loved New Orleans! Food was fabulous and the people were very friendly.

This was a great place to stay..clean and nicely decorated. The host was very accommodating and helpful. Sent me lots of information about the area and recommendations for restaurants . Birdys was a nice place for breakfast and it's just steps away.We were visiting Nola to go to the WW2 museum and it was just a short walk up Magazine St.We would definitely stay here again ..just too bad we couldn't have stayed longer this trip!

Lovely Historic Building

We had a wonderful week-long stay here. The location was quiet and we felt safe. It was easy to access transportation to the French Quarter or the Garden District with a short walk to St. Charles St. The home is lovely and the decor is authentic. Jules was easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions that we had. Overall, a wonderful vacation!

Great stay in lower garden

Actually didn’t stay in this apartment, Jules was gracious in offering the upstairs apartment instead. This one is a shotgun, requiring passage through the first bedroom to get to the bathroom and other rooms. 2nd floor apartment was lovely, with second bedroom and bath upstairs. Great location for exploring Garden District and Warehouse District, walkable to French Quarter. Excellent local restaurants.

Antique Dealer in town for Antique fair

The only things I did not like about my stay was, I was unable to reach Microwave on top of fridge. Too high to reach or use and no kitchen with pot or pans to make breakfast. I could not even make oatmeal. Normal start the day is slow with breakfast that I bring with me. Unable to make it in this venue and toaster was old and did not work well. However, beds great, towels good, over all property well maintained excepts for Kitchen.

Stayed for my daughter’s graduation from Tulane. This townhouse gave us a unique, beautiful, clean respite from activities. We started each day with a walk and coffee; had some friends over for a glass of wine before dinner. Everyone complimented the house! Great location and easy street parking!

To Truly See New Orleans – Stay with Jules & William

Our stay at Jule’s & William’s apt was delightful. With a 30-year span since our last visit to NOLA, they were invaluable guides. Answered all our pre-trip & during trip questions in a very timely manner. Felt I could reach them, if needed. Apt is beautiful. Very large main room. Well laid out for our comfort. The two bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Very quiet. Hardly any street noise. The patio in the rear of the apt was perfect to practice Tai Chi. Very peaceful. Check in and check out was a breeze. An easy 2 blk walk away is the St. Charles Trolley which can take you directly to Canal St. & a walk to the French Quarter. Also 2 blks from the apt. is a wonderful breakfast café, Surrey’s. Rec by the hosts. For Po-Boys, we enjoyed the host’s rec of Parasol’s, approx a 7-blk walk from home. What we enjoyed most was all the local people we met while walking the streets of the Lower Garden District to partake in their great food and music. Everyone was so welcoming. We feel like we really experienced the hospitality of the South thanks to this great location and the guidance of our wonderful hosts. We will be back.
